I'd recommend having the crew chief start counting after 5 so: "Building in sight, roof clear, continue...10...5...4...3...2...1...good hover, deploying ropes" and then ofc corrections like drifting forward or come left 3 2 1. Also idk if you are not doing already but the numbers usually don't have a set distance they stand for and are to convey a feeling how close the aircraft is to something so the pilot can better manage his control inputs. Might clear up valuable head space for the whole crew and ICS if something else happens. To much verbilisation can lead to only focusing on that and nothing else. All personal preference ofc.
Beautiful. What kinda setup you using? Seeing some really smooth camera movement mixed with smooth helo movement, is it some kind of eye tracking setup?
Nice video that's for sure as I always wanted to do stuff like this for a milsim, but since I'm getting old and it's hitting me, I have to stay away as late night ops kill me the next day. Still cool vid, if short. What mod do you use for the HMD? Is it by Kimi?
this guy doesn't realize autohover in AFM isn't the cheatcode it is in SFM this guy also doesn't realize i'd really rather not ruin 20+ assaulters' nights by fucking up the cool badass FRIES infil. tools are meant to be used, autohover is one of them
@@altar_of_needles yeah I never understand why people are so stuck up about stuff like that, I will happily admit to using SFM, because I know im just a transport pilot I dont need to do all the fancy bull, my job is to get people to and from.
Very nice. After having trained that with the 60 recently, I can confidently say, that was very smooth.

@@PervonHarke yeah thats normally how we do things, several factors contributed to why that didn't happen here.
God damn that was beautiful

@@Likeusb1 thanks, yeah so I've got TrackIR for the headtracking. Controls are VKB Gunfighter stick, Virpil collective, and Virpil ACE TORQ pedals

@@altar_of_needles Okay then, thanks
