I just love the aurora borealis pieces you showed!!! I am an avid vintage jewelry collector and I have several very nice aurora necklaces and a huge number of aurora brooches in almost every color you can imagine. Over the last few years I’ve purchased several really good boxes of junk vintage jewelry off eBay that I used to make some really gorgeous bracelets and earrings. They just don’t make costume jewelry like these beautiful vintage pieces any more. I also love vintage evening bags-I have collected a few and I am always on the hunt for more. Awe. I've always heard it called a turkey wattle. I know it's not the best thing for the person experiencing the wattle but I honestly think it's like one of those things that adds to the overall cuteness of aging...kind of like jowls & how we shrink over time. Sounds ridiculous, I'm sure but women who have the tight neck, jawline, & hallow eyelids...though they can appear wealthyish, they lose the softness of the grandma like aspect we really adore. You have wealthy eyebrows and a sweet, cute face. We love you as you are.😘☺️

The gold chain necklace from the 60’s reminds me of the gold paperclip necklace Jackie O wore. Those larger gold bracelets were worn over elbow length evening gloves in the Kennedy era. Granny Pat, I found my Grammas jewelry box full of costume jewelry and gemstone jewelry in the garbage pile when they were cleaning out my Grammas house. I have so many memories of her wearing those necklaces and earring sets. I have kept it all, some gemstone necklaces to wear and some to just open the box and look at. There is a round disc with a flamingo on it that used to be a necklace my gramma always wore. I have that flamingo disc to have a reminder of my gramma, also a box of her Coty loose powder. Have you ever heard of salt beads. The pioneer women used to make salt beads with 1 cup salt, half cup cornstarch, and half cup boiling water and food coloring. Found it in the 1955 October Workbasket.
I shut down my whole backyard if a bird has a nest back there. No blowers or mowers until the babies fly. Best of luck to you this weekend. I admire your courage!

Have you seen the Christmas trees that are made of a styrofoam cone shape trees and jewelry? They are beautiful. I have seen the kind you make which are nice. But you should try this type too.
🤔 I wonder if applying nail polish perhaps a good brand of a clear top coat would keep the rhinestones from falling out? Idk if it would dull the sparkle of the stone though, so I would test it on something else first. Oh well…Just a thought as I also really like your glasses.

Have you seen the Christmas trees that are made of a styrofoam cone shape trees and jewelry? They are beautiful. I have seen the kind you make which are nice. But you should try this type too.
When I was 16, I fell on my Dr. Pepper bottle. I broke the bottle and my wrist. Had to have surgery. I am 81 now and still have mr Dr. Pepper scar!!

🤔 I wonder if applying nail polish perhaps a good brand of a clear top coat would keep the rhinestones from falling out? Idk if it would dull the sparkle of the stone though, so I would test it on something else first. Oh well…Just a thought as I also really like your glasses.
