FYI: you can get mythical driftwood and Festive Driftwood etc. Because Crate pond from Sunstone Island is just allow you to fish crate and trash only. you never be"able to get fish that makes hard to get trash(Driftwood) likes other pond(roslit,moosewood, forsaken,etc)
Cons: You maybe get a lot of crate but does that really matter?

[EDIT] this strategy works i spend 200 on normal fishing and then 40 on this and it worked

garbage bait used to be good bait now it’s better for crafting but worse for beginners, if you didn’t know garbage used to give - preferred luck which means you usually don’t get any trash fish
also I remember using it to goof around when it had -250 lure speed

Of course you can, because that pond only allowed Crate and trash (no fish) so that will make it easier than other pond😁
