Yup that's sums it up, from your last video I almost knew that SA6 ultra is market breaking like chu in different price range but the most sad part of it is, it's limited edition 😢. Nice review Timmy
If this beats Variations at the same price bracket in terms of technicality, then it definitely can hang with many kilobuck out there easily, even flagship-tier. As for detail retrieval specifically, I would personally rank like this for my current roster: Jomo Flamenco 2017 > Anole VX >> Variations > S12 > CCA CRA = Starfield. Awesome review as always Timmy, very looking forward to your Annihilator full review, I wanna see how that one stacks up against both my Flamenco & Anole VX.
@@crzydraze yeap absolutely brother, same kind of v-shaped tuning but S12 is a more tastefully done v-shaped in my opinion, though if you like bass, then CRA still has its value. Honestly for me I just upgraded to something that works. I've had my Moondrop Starfields for a while now but never really felt blown away until I purchased the Spring Tips and Autumn Moon upgrade cable. Now the perfect seal along with a good quality feeling cable fully completes the sound and look experience for me. They really are nice now, the spring tips give them more sub bass and smooth out the high end slightly so they feel so good, you just melt into every track you play. I know they aren't the best IEM but the entire setup cost me $170 which is insane for the fact they rival some of my $200 plus headphones.
@@UNSCPILOT The spring tips are like 1000x better then any stock tips i've tried, they are a smaller size tip so they insert deeper and they are very tacky so they seal instantly and never come out. Moondrop has some great IEMs, if I could go back and buy one with the knowledge I have now, I'd get the Blessing 2, they are expensive but so worth it, I got to test some from a friend and they blew all my iem's out the water.
