    Thanks for your review. That is a common thing called fret sprout. Often due to the wood shrinking because of temperature/humidity etc. probably just has a neck made from cheap wood, and possibly could be due to conditions wherever the guitar is manufactured - which would be expected at that price. Filing them down is the right thing to do. But this can and does happen with very expensive guitars too over the course of their lifetime .
    Probably still a negative for a beginner but definitely not an uncommon or unfixable thing :)

      I just wanted to make first time guitar buyers aware that it was something to look out for, especially ordering online. Highly recommend going to a shop where you can try out a guitar and look for this even if you know nothing about playing a guitar. I think a shop would take care of this without charge if there are frets protruding from the sides.

      @@March1966 That is a fair thing to comment on in a review. I actually purchased one of these myself after watching your video and I have found it to be quite a nice sounding guitar for the price. And I don't know if they addressed something in the manufacturing process but I didn't experience any sharp edges on my frets!
