The JMGO N1S Ultra 4K is certainly a worthy upgrade from last year's N1 Ultra. With added features like ultra bright 3000ANSI Lumens you can watch this projector with ambient lights turned on or with your blinds open during the day without the image being too washed out. The addition of Google TV with built in Netflix makes the user experience a bit smoother. The N1 series is still a great projector, while the N1S series has been upgraded for a more well rounded experience. Which one of these would you prefer? Let me know in the comments.

I could have gotten every bit of this 'review' just by reading their spec sheet.

Thanks for the feedback. This isn't a review. This is a showcase. That being dogs everything here is my honest opinion. This is a great projector.

Jmgo claims that still laser speckle is present if alr screen is used, when I reached out to them. They recommend to not use alr screens, instead just standard screens will work. And may be an vividstorm alr ust screen.

Is the 1000 lumens difference really a big deal compared to the N1 Ultra?

You can definitely see the difference. If you will use this with any ambient light the extra brightness is helpful in my opinion

I've had the N1 ultra since it came out on Kickstarter and I do love it but I am more than just a little pissed that they came out with this one I would love to have a little bit more brightness in my situation. I wish when company did stuff like this they would have some kind of a trade-in program for customers that were nice enough to purchase their first model

@@nitro200flyer3 actually n1s ultra doesn't have true 4k resolution, it's a 1080p projector using pixel-shifting tech to make it look like 4k, while the n1 ultra is a true 4k projector. N1s brighter fr, but personally I prefer a picture with a real 4k resolution

@@instagainsomewhere2199 thanks for that info. I did not know that but I also thought that the N1 ultra that I have is also no longer a true 4K after a firmware update a while back I did notice a bit of a picture degradation. Anyway, I'm not wealthy enough🤑 to purchase two of these they have my money for the N1 and it doesn't sound like they have really created an improved next-gen just shuffled the cards and are dealing out the same hand to the players hoping for a different outcome.

@@instagainsomewhere2199 They're both pixel shifting projectors. True 4k is being able to produce 8.3 million pixels (4k res) which pixel shifting achieves. The n1 ultra uses the .47" DMD like a million others on the market. This also seems to use the same DMD
