I am so glad you have started your Jethro Tull journey. Ian Anderson is one of the greatest performers in my lifetime. It is easy where you should go next, live performances of either MY GOD or THICK AS A BRICK.
Oh yes Jethro Tull. Awesome sound, thanks. More of my favs would be Too old to rock and roll, too young to die. Heavy Horses Skating away on the thin ice of the new day Thick as a brick
I've seen Tull live twice and they're always brilliant, Ian Anderson is a great musican, plays many instruments such as guitar and keyboards as well as flute. He was once asked why he played flute and he replied that he set out in this industry to be the world's best guitarist but then he heard Eric Clapton play and switched to flute!
And he taught himself to play the flute ... no lessons ... recorded with the flute after only a few months of practice. Ian Anderson, singer, song-writer, musical genius.
CRANK IT UP!!.. Hit the pipe and the outdoor speakers switch and the drum kit for this tune. Next in the playlist for this band should be....Jethro Tull ~ My God.....( Live At The Isle Of Wight 1970 )
"INSANE".... maybe, or just pure Raw Talent from dedicated musicians. No Digital anything. Just Notes "Flying Off Into The Air".. JM, you may sometime agree with me on these. My All Time Favorites.... Vocals/Lyrics - John Lennon... Harmonica/lyrics - Bob Dylan.... Electric Guitar... David Gilmour-Pink Floyd.... Saxophone - John Helliwell - Supertramp... Piano/Keyboards - Rick Davies - Supertramp... Violin - Robby Steinhart- Kansas..... Flute/Vocals/Stage Presence - Ian Anderson -Jethro Tull... Drums - Phil Ehart - Kansas. All are exceptional talents at their chosen instrument.
Memories are made with two basic prerequisites necessary, Exposure and Applied Thought. We must be exposed to something and actually think about it to develop any memories of it. Being exposed to music you’ve never heard and then applying some thought is the best way to remember the song. My four grandkids (2 boys-2 girls) will hear the same great Classic Rock songs you are doing. They will have the advantage of your comprehensive analysis of both the music and message/lyrics. I give a Memory Stick with your videos as gifts and sharing the great music with a Twist. Thanks JM for your contributions to their education of Classic Rock. This makes 116 songs in your folder/stick
Any day now you're going to post.... Santana - "Soul Sacrifice" Live at Woodstock... Long version with complete drum solo 9 min+.... and all your subscribers are going to "Like" it..... 4,000 soon.
After all those years I didn't know it was Tull who was singing this song. I prefer not to see him, I am always scare that he'll always lose his eyes LOL
