    The Dagadusheth Halwai Ganapati temple is a Hindu Temple located in Pune and is dedicated to the Hindu god Ganesh.
    Rajgad Fort, also known as the Ruling Fort, was one of the iconic structures of the Maratha Empire. It is located approximately 60 km south-west of Pune and can be easily reached by hiring a taxi. The fort had a different name earlier called Murumbdev. This gigantic fort is sprawled over an area of around 40 kilometers, which made it quite difficult for the enemies to lay siege. The great Maratha ruler, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj made this fort the capital of the Maratha Empire for almost 26 years long. After this time period, the capital was moved to another fort called the Raigarh Fort. Rajgad Fort trek is popular among youngsters of the area and it takes around 2 to 3 hours to reach the top of the fort as it is located at a height of around 1376 m.Â
    Khadakwasla Dam is a picnic spot on the outskirts of Pune. It forms the Khadakwasla Lake which attracts nature lovers and adventure enthusiasts alike. Local people also visit the lake to enjoy the panoramic sunrise and sunset views it offers.
    Khadakwasla Dam distance from Pune railway station and Swargate bus stand is about 20 km away. And from the airport, it is about 25 km away.
