The thing about OpTic being a "content team" and not feeling the pressure to win is ludicrous. The amount of flowers and money that flows your way when you win with OpTic is unparalleled in COD. Those guys want to win, but the pressure of being OpTic gets to them.

Winning stopped becoming a priority after like year 2 of the cdl when it was clear to everyone fans and players that there are too teams 3-4 of em and then the rest seems like those bottom teams just don’t want to admit it even to themselves everyone knows “they’re just playing to hopefully qualify for champs” but for what ?? That isn’t winning.. those bottom teams knows that 4 of em aren’t going to champs period so that means they’re just fighting for a spot there…

First lets try and get a positive record for once NY are 4th and their double positive at 16-8 and Rokr 5th essentially double neg 8-15 like the top 4 will stay for the rest of the year
Every year there is at least a few rookies with high talent who make it into the league. Ex: Gwinn, lynzz, gio. Eventually after a few years there will be more talent to pool and some of the players lagging behind will drop down to challengers leading to more competitive teams than just a top 3/4. There will always be players making minimum to collect but eventually will be replaced by talent.
In a 16 team league, I think there will be a solid top 6, then as the u18 come up there could be a solid top 8 and bottom 8 and competition will get more balanced. 4 years from now we’ll have top 12 teams that are all highly competitive vs each other.
Most teams will then have 1 or 2 all star players with impact and 1-2 foundational players. Some of the big superstars would then really stand out but at least there will be teams competing against them.
