I think when Cordelia asked for the ring, she actually wanted to confirm her vision. She knew her mother is incredibly selfish, grasping at anything of hers, so when Fiona acquiesced to give her an other piece of heirloom no less... That’s when Cordelia knew her mother had truly planned to kill her, otherwise, she would have never given it. God, it was so beautifully done, like it was very subtle but a proof of incredible thinking. Such composure and intelligence from Cordelia. * Spoilers * Well, It’s no wonder she became the Supreme!
fiona was no fool either, she probably played cordelia into going to the axeman so that she could have him killed, she only lost cause her powers completely left her, but she was one smart cookie
@@federicoalonso4235 I feel like the confirmation of what Cordelia learned was enough to affirm and fully steady her resolve. Like this was the point where she was no longer in her mother's shadow, and as such, the flow of power from Fiona to Cordelia really began to surge even faster, rather than just the burgeoning rate from before
I loved this scene so much- you finally have Fiona and Cordelia having a shared moment of emotions- they finally understand why they both feel the way they do, for the first time in their lives.
That’s what makes Cordelia special, If Fiona was in her position she would have done it, but Cordelia is different she uses strategy and her intelligence over anger and fear, and that’s why she makes a great supreme at least IMO
The relationship between Fiona and Cordelia is a perfect portrayal of a narcissistic parent.. Fiona: "look at you, my beautiful little girl" .. literally no empathy for her daughter who lost her sight.. only about what Fiona has lost.. (i.e. her beautiful girl) Fiona has deluded herself into believing that her future is more important than cordelia or other's in the coven
When you think about it the vision was almost correct... (spoilers) Madison dies by her throat being slit, Zoe dies by a fence in her stomach (from transmutation), Misty dies by her own hell, and Queenie doesn't really die but gets seriously injured by a witch hunter...
Doesn’t queenie die when she tried to seduce that beast, Fiona finds her injured then she later dies in the bed, doesn’t Fiona bring her back to life ?
Notice how the longer the season went on the more Cordelia's confidence grew - she would've probably burst into tears had she seen that during episode 1 in front of Fiona. Asking for the ring wasn't her testing her mother for confirmation - it was her KNOWING one way or another, somebody was going to die - better to have all the jewels before she couldn't tell her. In THAT moment Cordelia decided - I AM GOING TO FIGHT THIS WAR. (if not NOW when?)
Hot damn, knowing how conceited Fiona is and how strained their relationship is, the way she was talking sounded harsh, but actually listening to the words, she's being stern by trying to make her daughter believe in herself. Cordelia lost hope in her abilities and she's basically like "I didn't raise a quitter." She even admits that Cordelia is powerful in ways she isn't. Gives me chills. All this despite "planning" on killing her. I think, deep down, she didn't want to succeed. She put up a front, but I think a part of her was proud, even if begrudgingly, of Cordelia, and secretly hoped she would be too powerful to kill, thus earning her place as supreme and ensuring the coven would continue to thrive, after Fiona was gone.
When I first watched this episode, this scene scared me, and made my heart drop. To think that Fiona could have been that much of a monster gave me chills and the way the vision scene was shot was horrifyingly genius.
When Michael killed most of the coven in 8x09 it should have been a real fight scene but the way Zoe, Queenie, and Bubbles would die should mirror the vision here
Everytime I see these beautiful ladies together in this season I always ask myself "who's the asshole father that left them or didnt try hard enough to keep them"

He actually didn't leave, but he died at some point. Fiona is a widow.
@ she said she was married 3 times, we dont know which husband was cordelia's father, couldve been 1 of the first 2 and we dont know how those marriages ended,i cant see fiona letting a man leave her tho
How awesome would it be if the vision Cordelia had here was actually going to happen in this season 8 Oo ! I mean it's second sight after all and all the witches are back which means they can all die again... That would be so cool if it happened but i doubt it :/
@@jerrylharbin well since Sarah Paulson is playing 3 characters and we know cordelia is gonna loose the title of supreme really fast in the season theres a good chance for her To die i guess
its crazy how many parallels of the vision she had with the girls dead, and how the 7 wonders and Hanks attack on Marie's home played out. Separate paths similar outcomes. Madison dying then being brought back just to be choked by Kyle Zoe Teleporting into the spike Misty being lost in the underworld and Queenie saving Marie with a bullet in the mouth
3:08 also can't Misty revive herself? How did she even die in this vision? Because if you look, there is no signs of stabbing or any physical harm. Unless, is she playing dead?
The vision kind of shows how they will die, misty dies in her own hell, which contrasts with her love of music, so she is dead on top of a piano, the one where Stevie played

Oh, yeah, totally! I mean, Cordelia gets it from somewhere, right? Lol
Anyways, I agree, Fiona was one hell of a smart cookie! :)

No.
That’s so confusing
"I believe I saw the future. A terrifying future." ~Cordelia Goode
Omg...
She still got it
Ahhh cringy
True today
So much repressed love between those two ladies, so much kindness acts never accomplished.
I loved this scene so much- you finally have Fiona and Cordelia having a shared moment of emotions- they finally understand why they both feel the way they do, for the first time in their lives.
i really don't know how Cordelia controlled herself during this scene, i would've snapped Fiona's neck.
ElioElioElio that's why she controlled herself, because Fionna could have killed her in a flip.
You can't just do that to an ill-state supreme
A cornered animal will rip you to shreds if you're not careful

This is one of the best scenes of the season.

Josh Edrick I know, I was just talking about for Coven
Josh Edrick no but she means in s3
Doesn’t queenie die when she tried to seduce that beast, Fiona finds her injured then she later dies in the bed, doesn’t Fiona bring her back to life ?
PotterHeads she doesn’t die, she just went unconscious Fiona uses Vitalum Vitalis to lend some of her lifeforce
CF123456 I thought she died because Cordelia said that she didn’t have a pulse then Fiona brought her back to life

3:37 - 3:43. Beautifully shot and scored.

This scene really sent chills down my spine.
They all died in similar ways to the end but Delia

tunderdiamant OHHH NO CORDELIA CANT DIE 😫😫😫
@@jerrylharbin well since Sarah Paulson is playing 3 characters and we know cordelia is gonna loose the title of supreme really fast in the season theres a good chance for her To die i guess
tunderdiamant we don’t know that ☹️
No...Cause in the vision Fiona killed them all. And in S8 Fiona is confirmed dead and Jessica wont be back as Fiona, cause she is stuck in hell.
H P Misty is stuck in hell too but she’s in season 8 but no, Jessica plays Constance.
Sm foreshadowing i love
So cute.....

What a great actress. Master class acting
WHY CANT I REMEMBER THIS SCENE
Who knows ? 🤷♀️
It’s just a bunch of hoooocus pooocus!!
I loved this show...
Wait in the beginning is Fiona trying to tell Cordelia to take pride in the power she was born with?
Delia asked for a ring not to make her mom suspicious not to confirm her vision
Is everyone else hearing a bizarre crackling sound with many of these clips. Vi keep worrying that my phone is breaking.... just wondering..
The music that plays i this is so nice
2:33 how did they get Madison in that position? Other than transmutation by accident that doesn't seem feasible
If you pause it, you can see the bar is broken where her head is.
Fiona's powerful. She could probably transmute/teleport another witch right into a pole if she wanted to.
She probably dragged Madison there and pushed her head against the broken bar. That's pretty simple, just use your imagination.
3:08 also can't Misty revive herself? How did she even die in this vision? Because if you look, there is no signs of stabbing or any physical harm. Unless, is she playing dead?
Amethyst Star she didn't die in the first place She was "left for dead" and heal herself When Madison kill her she didn't revive herself queenie did.
Wait for it. Lily Rabe is in AHS 8, so maybe Misty will return somehow.
Hahahhaa :) Yea, me too. I am sure they will come back.

@Kean Cantos I know, so tragic
Whats the background music?
Soundtrack?
I need some Knotty Pine 🎄🎃
Naughty pine
Does anyone know the name of the soundtrack that starts playing at 0:12?
Eris Meredith literally that’s going to be impossible to find
Eris Meredith if you Shazam it you could probably find it
@@xo523 I tried countless times and still nothing :(
Creepy
Which season is it?
3
Fiona set this up
that's what i thought. cause fiona would've never/didn't kill cordelia. even after finding out she was the next supreme.
Was Fiona mother was a witch?
What is the name of the movie
It's a Tv serious. American Horror Story: Coven
2:23 Why Cordelia’s eyes looks like that?
Watch this season and find out
