If I remember right you're supposed to hit it about 4 times per second or else you drop it. They're better on WoR since they slowly go away if you slow down too much, unlike in the WT era games where they just disappear entirely if you're too slow.
The game supports Expert+ but if my memory is right, this song for some reason doesn't. So it's not that it's not on the highest difficulty, but the game itself lacks a proper Expert+ chart.

@@TrueChaoSclx late I know, but they're playing the song on expert, not expert +. Also there were no bass notes charted with the sustains.
