The thing to keep in mind about Oliver Tree, is he is always "in character." So what he says is never the full truth or meant to be taken seriously. I mean, his first tour as the Turbo persona was called the "Farewell Tour". So whenever he says he's retiring or he's done with music, what he really means is he's done with that persona.
Hes said in an interview he was moving on to do movies instead of music and he said in the interview he wasnt playing a character in that interview
I remember seeing him live during that tour! It was such a fun show, and Tommy Ca$h was there as well. Good times, I deffs wanna see him again.
He's releasing an album on February 18th so there's definitely gonna be a lot more from him to react to :D

Oliver tree is a goddam gem
I’m not sure exactly how many there are left but you should check out the whole cowboy tears album (he said he was never gonna release another album back in 2020 then he shadow dropped a bunch of unreleased songs and then a whole new album, I managed to see him on his tour a few weeks ago, it was fuckin dope) anyway, all the songs on cowboy tears were sick as hell except for one in my opinion (California was kind of a stinker, I didn’t care for it) but the rest are awesome
I love California because it reminds me of old punk bands I used to listen to. Never failed, they always had a song about their hometowns lol
