Great video, these are very special cars. Nice to here the names of two restoration shop owners, Paul Russell and Mark Allen. A good friend worked for both of them and now has his own shop in the town I live

Looking at these cars reminds me of spending 100 hour weeks in July working to get a car to this show. Now retired after nearly 40 years as a mechanic in the Ferrari service and restoration business in SoCal I can appreciate the skill and effort to prepare these cars...

If it wasn’t for you filming these cars and conveying their story, many of us would never know of them, so thankyou very much, greatly appreciated! Ps loved the Xk resto vids, do another please!

I think the comment was to be meant as a very big thank you to Mr. Owen. Mr Owen has shown his great admiration to this era of cars in every one of his videos. I agree we can troll RUclips for lots of information but Mr Owen is truly genuine and I like when he gives history lesson on his passion.

What an incredible collection of "holy shmoly" cars. Absolutely agree with you about the 27GTB. The "production" 275GTB (and 275 GTB4) are my favorite sports cars, and I'd love to have one. This one-off example is just so unbelievably stunning.
    Thanks for a great presentation.

    Love these video Richard!
The 4K + quality looks STUNNING and I noticed I could read the small signs even when you moved around!
The discreet background music does not impair your voice, you take breaks and let us hear the engines and you talk over the cars with very few mistakes.
I am SUPER impressed by what you produce!

Jaguars are my favorite, but I tend to love all GT cars from the 1950s to the early/mid-1970s. Some of those Ferraris had rear-end styling similar to Aston Martin DBs and one even had Triumph styling like taillights.

Hi Richard. Can you show us the Ferrari 250 Europa that we get a glimpse of at 10:10 between the 275GTB Speciale and the 410 Superfast? It's the Lampredi engined predecessor to the 250GT Europa. It wears the unusual Firestone wide whites.

Amazing to see these peaces of art. The only sad side of it is that they don't get driven. When they where made they where made for enjoyment ! If Leno owned them I guess he would take them for a ride at least once a week !

    Great video & commentary!
IMO the only saving grace to these 7 or 8 digit cars is that they are removed from their climate-controlled capsules, started, and driven for a few hundred feet on grass.
(OMG - There's molecules of chlorophyll being transferred to the tire treads!!... the engine is sucking in non-purified raw ambient air!!...)
What would be really nice is that after Pebble Beach, ship 'em across the pond and thrash 'em at Goodwood.
Poses the age-old question - is it an automobile or a static museum piece that happens to run...(?)

Richard, how are the "important" cars, the Jaguars you are restoring, coming along?
These Ferrari "show ponies" are ok but many of those "things with fins" are just butt ugly. I'll bet old Enzo near puked up his breakfast when he first saw those, Mama Mia!!!! Good report.
