Please don't wear scarves/dupattas while using the lathe. Like, seriously, don't. These things are incredibly powerful. If that scarf gets into the machine, it'll pull *you* into the machine too, leading to all sorts of horrific injuries and likely even death. Please don't be irresponsible in a "how-to" video of all things.

i work with a lade that's from that era. its precise to a thousandth of a millimeter.. they used the same machines to create the rocket ships and other equipment for the moon landings among things back in the 50's. They made things to last back than so being old doesn't mean it has to be bad kid.

My first thought when watching this video is the long sleeves and scarf are making me nervous. All that fast spinning and loose clothing strike me as a very bad idea… I never want to see what can go wrong when you combine human error and a machine like this🫣

Well I am here to see how this machine works. What sparked my curiosity was that there was actually security footage in Russia at a work place with a man and a lathe, and long story short, the Mans arm / hand first got stuck, and then his entire body got sucked in this and basically his guts and insides just flew everywhere. It’s somewhere out there on google. So intense and terrifying. Sheesh. Safety first, indeed.

reminds me of college workshop, there I made 8 operations on 100 mm workpiece.
you r using v tool for taper turning ...this is wrong ..this tool is used for threading and grooving
