Nice video William. Coud you please advise me on trekking in the winter. Did you miss out climbing goechala viewpoints 2 and 3? Did you cut short your trip? and please advise me on the temperatures at goechala points during Dec. Thanks in advance for your response :) It will be helpful if you could share the details of your guide as well :)
We were very lucky with the weather until we were on our way back. During the day it was very warm. Night was fairly mild for that time of year. It never reach + degrees during the day on the way back.
Nice, thank you for posting. Is there even a way to attempt a Kanchenjunga summit with relative safety from the Indian side of the massif? Is Goecha La used as base camp on trips from the Indian side or is base camp further?
+Prakash Manley Yeah it can and has been used as the base camp in years past. It all depends on which route you want to climb. You can camp further up than where we walked to. Might need special permits I believe.
LOOKS LIKE WE DIDNT CROSS PATH ! NICE VIDEO AND YOU ARE LUCKY FOR THE WEATHER
