Thank you pastor for comforting and exhorting those that have been hurt. It's true that forgiving those that hurt us is essential for our well-being. I feel, though, that we have to acknowledge the fact that forgiving those that hurt us is not easy. Perhaps, what can help is for those who have been hurt to seek to understand how hurt comes about. We get hurt by the thought that we have in our mind. We can be free of this hurt if we give attention to our thoughts and recognize those thoughts that create painful emotions. Behind every feeling of hurt is a hidden thought. So, try and fish around in your mind to discover that hidden thought which is creating the painful feeling. The moment you discover those thoughts, your hurt will come to an end. Give it a try and see what happens. All the best.
Thanks for the admonition at the beginning of sermon regarding introducing preachers as celebrities. It’s truly irrelevant to spend 5 minutes talking about a preacher’s credentials and resume/CV. What I also don’t get is the instrument playing before the sermon is over. Anyways, what a powerful sermon on the Grace of God from the book of Jonah.
I enjoy the sermons my pastor...I just have a request, Please could you consider minimizing the use of local language because i don't understand the language because am from a different country...Thank you
I only pray that through pastor's word of God, the holy Spirit may convict each one of us, am from Uganda Kampala.
