- Doug Marshall plays Marshall & Ogletree's landmark Opus 1 double organ, originally built for Trinity Wall St. in New York City and dedicated on 9/11/2003. Of its twin consoles, we are thrilled to report that the gallery console (pictured in this video) is now relocated to Church of the Blessed Sacrament on W. 71 St (near Broadway), and continues to be heard as two complete organs in midtown Manhattan.
I Must Comment Again On A Absolutely Smashing Performance!🥳🥳🥳🤩🤩🤩👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻. Gordon Young Would Be Proud 🥲! I as a Organist My Self and A Total Addicted To The World 🌎 Of The Pipe Organ Like Some People Will Say You’ll Either Love ❤️ It Or🤔😮🤬Hate It. My Own Pipe Organ Encounter Was Very Early In Life Especially Given The Fact That My Dad Was The Methodist In 3 Separate Church’s Which Meant 🤔Looking Back In Time Just How Hard He Did Work. Luckily A Majority Of The Church’s Had Pipe Organs. The Organist At My Dad’s 2nd Service Always Allowed Me To Sit On The Organ Bench and I Was Hooked. Bravo 👏🏻 On Bringing A Very Much Needed Life Into That Well Written Piece.
Thank you so much for sharing. Beautiful played.

Bravvissimo! You`r the Genius! It needs some bell stop ...
So wonderful, as usual.
What a magnificent interpretation
Thanks for the bird's-eye view. I am trying to learn this and it helps to see where the fingers are actually going. (I'm almost there!)
Gordon Young Would Be Most Proud!
Wonderful playing as usual!
Nicely done Doug.....I remember having that for an organ lesson (O:
Really nicely played on a splendid pipe organ
This instrument is of course a virtual organ.
@@bobareebop yes ,it sounded so good it fooled me
Very nice! And not super-duper-vivacellegro, as so many perform it. I enjoyed the registrations as well. I wonder if Dr. Young made any recommendations for registration in his original publication of it.
You really let the music breathe. Superb.
Maravilloso , gracias.
Very nice Doug
Wowwwww 😀👍
