Exactly, I hate how op and her mom and dad tried to tell the sister that she shouldn’t have a party because she wouldn’t enjoy it and she would just sit down the whole time, like no ma’am she just didn’t enjoy your party because it didn’t involve the things she liked, the sister could have had a party where everyone came as their favorite book character or something.

For the story about the two sisters and sweet sixteens, THE MAIN CHARACTER IS DEFFO THE AHOLE! and so is the family, the girl is just an introvert, she didn’t deserve that.
For the wedding one, no, the people around you made several comments about your sexuality and you were just giving them then answer they had been bugging you about.
For the wedding one you are not the a hole for many reasons. They kept making jokes about you getting a girlfriend which probably made it uncomfortable and also the bride had said some thing about your sexuality something like you might be wired the wrong way which might’ve came off weird because this was supposed to be a wedding not a go hook up with a girl to give me my grand children party. At the end of the wedding story I was confused because how is coming out after being told to go get a girlfriend or to go date someone in the wedding mess up the whole thing. The bride and his family was being rude so no your not the a hole for coming out at a wedding.

She didn’t feel comfortable leaving her baby like that, also again the bride should’ve put her foot down, the mother told her she was bringing her kid but the bride said “I don’t want to start drama” that’s her fault, plus it would be even worse to just not show up, and the baby barely did anything so how did it mess up the wedding? @@jalynn1114 If you don't feel comfortable leaving your kids with a sitter then you need to stay home. It would've been a lot less rude to call and say you can't come because of your kids than it is to ignore the married couples request and bring your kids anyway.
If someone doesn't respond to you then the answer shouldn't be assumed to be a yes. The OP wasn't the only one with young kids, but everyone else understood and respected that rule.
