Agreed. I thought he was talking about salt in an r configuration, and I was puzzled as to how that was even possible, so I clicked. I got click baited. I'm innocent
FYI I bought some meat rabbits and I’m gonna call the buck Dugan, simply because he FUX! Keep up the great work, I know we are going into the winter months but I would like to see some more of the farm! Possibly an update on those low laying 4x8 green houses that you posted earlier.
Is always a pleasure to see your videos, Dug. I can't tank you enough for the knowled I've gathered from this channel. Thank you very much and may God bless you.
I feel like Energetica is a great cyberpunk nickname for the chemistry of explosives. Like " he's a chemist? What use is a chemist? " "No" says the other, " he is an Energetica expert." "Ooh ...." "Big boom, bright flash, loud bang... Gotcha."
Why? He already made video on RDX with excellent method. That and his TNT video are most valuable videos on this channel. Making Hexogen from R-Salt is far more expensive.
PLEASE, ENERGETIC BROTHERS!! SOMEONE, SAVE THAT LEGACY ON ANOTHER PLATFORMS!! I WAS DOWNLOAD A FEW VIDEOS FOR MY COLLECTION FOR TIMES I WILL CANT GET ACCES TO INTRNT, BUT I CANT ANYMORE. THANKS, BROTHERS! THANKS, DUG! GOD BLESS YOU!
I feel like getting NaNO2 is significantly harder than getting nitric acid. Its easy to make or get nitric acid but NaNO2 is only in really low concentrations in certain meat salts. it makes extraction a nightmare. do you have a process for making it, the molten lead and sodium nitrate method?
Hello, Dug and the audience. I have a strange question, I'm not a chemistry expert. Is it possible to use nitroglycerin in drone ammunition? How to implement it, the ammunition already contains glycerin, before the drone takes off, nitrate is added to the ammunition. During the drone's flight, the mixture mixes and nitroglycerin is obtained. The advantages of such a mixture are cheapness, simplicity and the absence of a detonator. In your opinion, does this make sense or is it nonsense?
@Dug Watched an interesting video the other day of someone taking seashells and turning them in to AGU Bicarb. Made me think you would have loved the efforts. Excellent video, everyone stay safe.
@hinz1 He mentioned in the video it was stable with no decay over a 6 year trial period. In a war time economy this seems acceptable even if it doesn't last long term.
Aggressive stirring vs standing, how cold was your ice/solution? Is there potential that the paper used warmer ice leading to a higher formation temp, eg lower yield and more side product?
Very "grey" area there...... Spend a month or 3 reading everything about the atf regulations on manufacture and usage of energetic compositions. Main takeaway is, making and using immediately for research or educational purposes "probably" won't land you in prison. As long as it's not incorporated in to a NFA destructive device Storage and/or transportation or making NFA items is where the goon squad will bring the hammer down on to you. Make small quantities and DO NOT use them in malicious ways and you "probably" won't draw unwanted attention to yourself....
@@John-ir2zfthis also applies to tannerite. If you mix it, you must have an explosives permit or license to transport, and the storage regulations apply.
You made RDX, R-Salt, you plan making videos about Keto-RDX, so why not HMX in the future... It belongs to hexamine family like others mentioned. Acetic anhydride? Easily made from acetone.
The sub nitrates are all water soluble and will not precipitate in water. The tetranitrate precipitates in water. You are likely making liquid subnitrates.
I think you're doing something different. I'm also getting around 10 grams, just as the patent says... Is it perhaps ionically sensitive? I'm just using regular ice... is yours distilled ice?
@@TheNerfherder1000 Yeah idk. I did about 15 runs with different batch sizes and acids. I might have mistaken a double batch for a single, that would give 21 g result. I definitely had a 16 g batch from lab notes.
@@duganashley1337 I think you might have done a double batch. I've done a double batch that got me 20g, and just based off of the filtered water in your 2L filter flask (not scientific at all, I know) it does look like a double batch. maybe 1L of water at 10:40. Or I just suck at this synth... could be that.
nitrosamine mutagen warning! but I feel like you didn't mention this on purpose? no one wants to be California constantly reminding people. But that's why it's "back shelfed".
I'm convinced that the Dug we are watching is actually a "Dug from Beyond" hence the crazy "filter". This is info from the other side boys. True esoterica.
Guys Do we need pure ammonium nitrate or can we used ammonium nitrate without purification after bisulfate sodium and nitrate sodium reaction ? Thanks and best regard for your response ?
Wow. disguisting chemistry- I am so happy to never have to touch it but also see little of this chemistry to broaden my knowledge- safely from a distance. As for Germany, we have masses of chemicals in terms of explosives hidden in the ground and in the seawaters- thanks to WW2. I wonder the risks and environmental impact of those. I would appreciate bit more historic infos on those things you handle- probably with better chemistry over the years- how do you deal with such toxic substances in terms of disposal? are there ways to safely inacticvate/break down these molecules?
That should work. That potassium or sodium ion is generally just a spectator ion. It doesn’t really participate in the reaction. In the end it gets converted to the corresponding chloride salt when the nitrite reacts to form HNO2.
Another delicious recipe from the best christian baking channel on youtube.

Duganistan out here making it at night

Teenage Mutant Tinja Nurtles
Lmao. YT offers to translate that to English. If you do it, it only changes "Tinja" to "Poop"
Finally, we know what “TMTN” actually stands for! 👍🏻
Excellent recipe! Will make great cookies for the grand children. Happy Holidays, and Merry Hannukah!
Maybe by adding sodium chloride into solution could help to maintain the temp at even lower level...

What reason did Germany not adopt this over the complex production of PETN?
Because nitrosamines are crap, decompose far too easily.
