Wow, this kicks ass! At first I thought this was a joke. Definitely not what I was expecting to see and hear...This is a tune that would make a chick want you to engage in some sort of debauchery...
far too slow in my opinion, she sounds like a injured jackyl.......drummer is worse one ever...keep practicing....its in there somewhere...... gotta go, My ears hurt and I feel sick
I guess I will be the first negative comment about this video. I was a rock musician for around forty five years. This is what I think. They have taken a legendary song, a rock anthem, and ruined it trying to make it “bluesy.” The tempo is too slow, the singer doesn’t sing the song, she talks it. The only time she can hold a note is when she screams the higher notes. Terrible. The drummer does okay following Ginger Baker’s non use of the snare except during the chorus. But after the guitar solo she does use the snare during the last verse. The other two musicians were boring. I saw Cream at Winterland in 1967. A great performance. This video is a bad performance.
Okay. Getting past the perceived sarcasm, I’ll say this. Whenever we played this we tried to keep true to the original. But then nobody plays as good as Cream did. I do understand bands putting their own stamp on songs. It’s part of being in a band. I just didn’t like this arrangement. I just feel this is a song you don’t mess with. BTW, I don’t play anymore. Age and fingers that can’t do the job anymore have caught up with me.
Disagree, her vocal quality is unique and sultry and I don’t hear where she is off key or “speaking”. It’s not your version and that’s ok. I cringe at some attempts to cover my favorite tunes but they weren’t recorded for me and I don’t listen to them. If their technique was off or instruments out of tune or they were off time I’d agree with you. But these are fine musicians and this rendition is top notch. The recording/video quality is great too. My 2 cents.
@@mariolozoya3960 Well, here we are three years later. I respect your views on this video. Everyone has their opinion about music. They either like it or don’t. That’s just the way it is. Maybe I was a little too analytical, but that’s how I felt about this arrangement.✌️
You all are an amazing group! And Cass, Your voice gives Me Chills! 😍
Now that's a COVER. Didn't try to climb the same mountain as Cream. Built their own, different mountain, right beside it.

Unique voice. Drummer weak.
Close your eyes and I swear it sounds like a dude on lead vocals

She doesn't have the soprano that's needed for this song

I would love to hear your version of it 😘

Also, I do apologize if there was no sarcasm on your part. It just the way it struck me at first.
