KB avoids the bulls##t! Instead answers these questions about being an artist with honestly & truthfulness. She is brilliant and well spoken. I’m inspired . Thank you
This one is for all the creatives out there! One of the most inspirational videos I’ve seen in recent days if you need a reminder of why we become artists. 🙂❤️. I’ve re-posted this on my social media feeds as it is so relatable to many artists working today. Katherine is the real deal! Good job Xevolvez
Wonderful progression of your work and the filming of you in the process. Engaging more and more as you painted. For me the backstory how you came to this point hit in a personal place having lived during the same period of time as you. Although a man, I see the world through the eyes of my mother. Some might call it gender confusion. Maybe once upon a time but now fitting into my skin whether male of female is of little concern. Thank you.
WOW I love this film! Beautiful person and so much how it feels for me too! I looked her up and saw her age ..82.. is this a recent film? She really looks younger..
Thanks for a great interview. Really inspiring, and so simple and honest. But what's with the music?? That repeating eeeehh sound, hurts my teeth.Having to strain to hear her talk. Please choose less obtrusive music for your future work, or just leave the music out.
Bigger and bigger canvases, smaller and smaller ideas. A worthy representative of the galleries that keep their stable of artists in touch with the richest collectors, the curators who buy just in case....As Marcel Duchamp, another con artist, so rightly said...to be an artist is easy, you have to wait 75 years. When you see such crusts raised to the pinnacle, you don't have to think too hard to realize that art is really in crisis.
"Nobody asked me if I wanted to run a household and have a lot of kids..." what a ridiculous statement. She makes it sound like she had no choice. Then talking about women's rights and donating money from her paintings to murderers ie Planned Parenthood - what a distorted sense of morality...what choice does the unborn child have because its mother decided to have intercourse ... she can keep her paintings

@@arctype_media 🙏🙂
Love love love the Poetry not politics comparison to Art making!
Awesome artist and great free wheeling interview 😊😊😊 🙏🙏🙏 Love your work and so glad you found your tribe Katherine
The music is annoying! I just want to listen to her!!
Very shitty music
yeah quit the jazz music. why does every painter video on the web involve jazz music. maybe ask what the painter listens to irl.
I love this woman!
just amazing beautiful work....and an awesome human being.
Really honest and refreshing interview ❤
Great insight. I love the work. Thanks for sharing.
What an excellent and inspiring conversation.
So wise and brilliant! How wonderful person! I want to be an artist like her!
Such a fun and inspiring story! Wish I had space to work so large! She’s awesome!
Absolutely 💯
It is so refreshing to discover people who are real.
Beautiful, love the interview and the honesty of Katherine, the yearning, the freedom, art having value, very timely ❤
Very inspiring! Loved the interview, I love her views on life and art and the title Making Things.
the music and editing on this
great artist and great interview!
Thank you for such a lovely conversation! I love your paintings and love to hearing you talk…It’s just inspirational
Just wonderful and thanks for this interview.
I was too normal and happy 😂
Good documentary. Music is unnecessary.
I like music and it’s my documentary but, thanks for your feedback and watching anyway! 🙏🏿
@@arctype_mediareally enjoyed this interview, especially your editing and music vibe. Nicely paced and engaging 🙂👍🏼
I like the music, I think it & the background noises could just be a tiny bit quieter so as not to distract so much from her voice. ❤
The "background music" is not in the background, it's competing with KB.
Don't worry about it
Thank you, this is so honest and inspiring..
unusually authentic.

Brilliant! Best advice I have heard in 45 years.
Love her work, love the colors, love the subject of the pieces...beautiful art
Wow, those old photos of Williamsburg are great! My apartment was the building next to Belinda's Lounge on the second floor
congrats on this video clip, extremely engaging and inspirational for artists.. best !!
Thank you for this 🚀
Nice talk, down to earth. Intelligent. Spot on.
Wonderful! ❤ her! ….. (❤ her Marsden Hartley chair, too 🥰)
seeing thru your figures makes thme one with the universe
I try not to hero worship but ... thank you for this
Great interview 😊
Incredible stuff. Really fine!!!
So cool
She is a delight!
WOW I love this film! Beautiful person and so much how it feels for me too! I looked her up and saw her age ..82.. is this a recent film? She really looks younger..
Yes, it is recent. Few months now. Kathy looks amazing!
Good advice!
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Value has a cost 💞
❤ Beautiful
Music is making me crazy
How do these artists compete in the global art market place? Do they just sell in NYC?
Thank you, thank you. Now back to work
True words, finally!!!
A social victory for sure. An art victory … not quite so convinced.
The work is honest and effervescent!
Can you interview more people who made a mark in their field w/o trampling over others to get there?
Young people need to see more of this.
Che bella filosofia di vita piena di idealismo cultura ed energia complimenti e tanti auguri di ogni bene ❤❤❤
Brilliant. Artists paint what people want to buy...politics, or whatever.
How did she afford all the supplies?
Not keen on her art, but love her bravery x
Unbelievable.
In a good way, or in the negative sense? Lol.
I thought the music was good. It gave it a fierce energy that one might not expect from an elder.
Thank you 🙏🏿
Background music is too loud:( can't hear what she's saying:(
Blah blah
Von was hat sie gelebt, weiß das bitte wer.Sie spricht mir aus der Seele
I paint from my photographs ……… I’m a figurative artist, I’m not a fan of your work but I wish you the best of life .
Music is too loud 😢
She donated paintings to help out Planned Parenthood.... what a cause. I would donate to the orangutans before I'd do that.
But YOU are not HER. sorry.
sorry-had to turn it off because of the music......pity.
Cry baby.
@@cliffdariff74 haha-sensitive ears...this "music" was particularly invasive/intrusive. a real distraction to the message-for me. Not for everyone.

The music is so 😬
Like many mini docus nowadays, destroyed by music - such a pity. Sorry, not watchable for me.
WTF?

Boo hoo
The music is hideous!!!
The music is so unnecessary. A voice with important words needs no embellishment.
You lost me at Roe vs. Wade. Good bye.
Vapid art work? Maybe?
The music is awful, I just want to SEE her Art. Can't hear her and most of her art BLURRED OUT, The video maker here MISSED his moment.....darn.
