This video helped me out . I put a new belt on mine because it shredded. I flipped the sensor on the belt cover and put new belt back on and went to go ride but then my bike was skipping and wouldn’t go past 10 mph with out popping back thru the exhaust pipe . You actually have to reset the belt light for the bike to run Normal again . Back to riding wheelies 😎
Have this recommend because was trying to figure it out on my 19 brute force. How I miss my 09 brute... I actually liked it better than the new one, I think the front storage in the new ones is dumb. Besides latch broke at 40mph and the lid literally hit me in the face and I went blind for a week...
Thank you ! You got to the point right away. I spent hours reading forums and watching videos listening to dumbass's ramble on and on about how to reset the belt light.
Any tips? I have done this a couple of times and My light still flashing. Did also open the drive cover and belt seem fine and switch was on the on position. I'm getting no luck!
hey bro , I have a 2002 Praire, I have the two-pin for the belt sensor on the case and the plug that the KEBC actuator plugs into it (Black) behind the frame, that's all I can find other than the plug that the front 4x4 actuator plugs into(under the top guard plastics at the front (grey) , they do not reach each other to swap by the way so I'm hell confused
The plugs to swap on your machine are located just above the belt cover. I touched on that just a bit at the end of the video. The plugs on your machine are also black and the other is grey. You might have to cut zip ties to get the slack you need
Hi could you make a video on how to replace your ignition switch it’s $35 on Amazon for a new ignition switch Is this more worth it then getting a new key
Yes. On this machine all the gray connector does is make the yellow wire with the black stripe connect to the black wire with the red stripe on the female black connector
@@5347BBC What about on a 2010 machine? I have a yellow wire will black stripe, a black wire with yellow stripe, a white wire with red stripe, and a brown wire. Please please tell me exactly what to connect. I'm so frustrated. THanks.
@@5347BBC no...It looked like you moved it forward. It says OFF in that position, and I couldn't get the light to stop flashing until I moved it back to ON.

Excellent video you have photos of the connector you used of red cable, my kawasaki does not have it
I just have the connector under the seat shown in the video
@@5347BBC If that same, you could send me a sample photo so you can get it in some sale of spare parts
The part number for the connector is 46066-0001

The grey connector in my kawasaki is lost. Is it possible to reset the belt without it, just connecting some wires ?
