    UPDATE - New image showing donor zone.
    www.themaitlandclinic.com/wp-...
    We are the first clinic in the United Kingdom to standardize on Ultra HD 4K video to show you all of the details.
    This patient came to see Dr. Ball at The Maitland Clinic to see about his hair restoration options. He learned about FUE and FUT and decided that with his hair style requirements that FUE would be the hair transplant procedure that would suit him best.
    Dr. Ball personally extracts all of the FUE grafts during any procedure and this case was no different. Using high powered stereoscopic dissecting microscopes, the team at The Maitland Clinic separated, inspected and refined the single hair grafts necessary for a natural result. Dr. Ball also was personally responsible for finding and selecting only the finest grafts for the hairline as well. This is The Maitland Clinic difference. Natural.

    I have a consultation very soon. I don’t even need that much from what this guy has had, but my last transplant from another clinic was terrible and I hear Dr ball and the maitland clinic are great to recorrect and are perfect and gaining naturalism, which is key when performing a HT.

    • @VaaliD93
      @VaaliD93 4 года назад +5

      I must say it does look a bit funny. I've had an HT with similar hair to this guy and being blonde and fair skinned definitely doesn't help though. I don't think it's an over harvesting issue as he only had 1000 grafts. Might just be the lighting and being blonde/fair skinned that's causing an issue here.
      He also appear to have a 0 or a 1 at the back and sides, possibly going 1 higher when next cut would completely eliminate this.
      If I get a 0 fade at the barbers you can see my scars quite clearly but if I get a 1 it's absolutely not noticeable.

    Nice result. I am considering having a it done. My case is similar to this guy as in I haven't lost that much hair.
    I'd like to fill out the edges of the corners of my head, but at my widow peak area the hair is a bit thin for my liking. Can hair be transplanted at my widow peak to thicken the area where they are thin?

    • @themaitlandclinic

      Maybe, but it depends on just how thin the area has become. You'll need to have a consultation to have a personalized hair loss treatment plan designed for you. Thank you for your question.

      @@kvdngz3900 My results exceeded my expectations.
      I had my first procedure in 2010. About 1100 grafts with good results.
      10 years later I had more hair loss in the front so I had my 2nd procedure done in late December of 2019. 1650 grafts. I still had the grafts from my first procedure because whatever hair you transplant does not fall out. My original grafts plus my new grafts gave me a head of hair like David Beckham. A couple things to keep in mind. Almost every guy will need two procedures and how good your procedure turns out depends on the quality of your donor hair. My doctor told me my donor hair was very good.
      Is it worth it?
      Let me say that going from severely balding in the front to having hair like Brad Pitt in 6 months is a pretty fucking amazing .
      Good Luck.

      True. Generally speaking, imo, if you have a high hairline / receding temples but good coverage on the rest of your head, FUE works fantastically. I've personally never seen a good result from someone who has lost the majority of their hair prior to surgery.

    Hi, can I ask why the hair wasn’t parted properly with the comb?

    • @themaitlandclinic
      @themaitlandclinic  4 года назад

      The combing was only for the areas worked on, which did not go very far into the existing hair so a proper parting of the hair wasn't of value. The detail and closeup of this video, being pretty much the most detailed of any result ever shown in the UK, shows each individual hair well into the hairline and the areas addressed.

      @@cristoff3 What do you think the at presentation from 00:38 to 00:57 is?
      Smoke and mirrors? It's a 4k video showing vivid before and after pictures and videos from different angles in critical lighting. So much so you can see all the angles, placements, singles in the hair line etc. It's about as good as it gets with transparency. The way you talk about it it's as if it's some Turkish, low-quality distant Instagram photo.
      If you can't tell this is world class natural work from this video, then the problem is with you not having sufficient knowledge of hair restoration, not the video.
