Soul plates look super fast and the skates look solid! I´m so glad Rollerblade has put the time and effort to launch a new aggressive skate that has no flashy features but it´s just solid and you can skate it right out of the box. Great review and great product!
Just got mine. I have white hydrogen wheels instead of black. The skate sort of reminds me of the razors sl because how the frame is bolted. Blank skate bolts to the boot while the sl had on open slot where the soul plate is flushed in with the boot to have frames mounted closer to the boot. Forward flex is stiff. Sl skate feels more flexy on that department out of the box brand new. The build quality seems better on the blank skate. The V3 reign feels much better and comfortable in my opinion. I did put my reign liners in the blank skate and it felt tighter for some reason in that boot around the ankles. So I would rather leave the blank liners in. The sl skate has no floppy heal lift when you jump. It’s solid. The blank skate had a little lifting but I tightened the strap to hold my ankle down more so that helped a lot. The width of the souls on both skates seems similar in size. But I like the simplicity of the blank skate soul since it’s one piece. I don’t like the bolting design of the sl skate on the soul plate and soul sliders. But for people who like to customize the sl skate is best. In short the sl skate has the better liner if you go for the pro model version ie henderson2. The blank sk has the better boot. Hopefully blank will come in with more colors in the future. And one more thing, I did fit the medium oysi frames with 65mm outer and 58mm inner with no mods on the soul plate.
Damn, props to RB for this release! I have never seen a skate company release something so well, with the build up and hype to all the people they've sent skates to to make videos about them. For a change I've actually been able to see the skates all over on video and watch people I respect talking about them/breaking them down. I also like the idea of the Beta release, it gives me time to sell another pair before 2022 so I've got space for these bad boys 😬 The only thing that would make these so much cooler for me would be a bit of colour, hell even black and white together. All black meh?! Still gonna cop, but where's that colour technology... 🤣
I think it's more they've sent skates to everybody, well nearly everybody (poor Law!) which I think is great marketing and a cool way to support our rolling RUclips channels.
We need an in-depth evaluation of their true topsouling capabilities 😄

Best skate ever. Seems to have everything people want. Low riding height, flush ufs hardware, integrated heel shock absorber, heel lock with 45 strap, upgraded liner stock, flat set-up stock, wide shell, wide soul kit... Nice look.
