I agree authentic>Swingman, but I also say get what you can afford and if the authentic isn't available don't be scared to buy a swingman. But I 100% agree authentics are better and a better overall value than swingman jerseys. I do love swingman jerseys for more playing and usage for actual basketball or playing at the YMCA because of the price point and they always have discounts that can cost $50 or less in a lot of cases, but again too each their own.

Most people who say they can't afford an authentic jersy will buy a bunch of swingmans and spend the same amount of money. I say stay patient, save and get an authentic instead of a swingman. At least that's how I think. The difference in quality is such a no-brainer.
Yes, I'd rather have less authentic jerseys than more replica/swingman jerseys personally. I mostly collect MLB and NHL though.

I'm perfectly fine buying both versions. Authentics as collectibles, and swingmans to actually wear them in everyday life. Imagine damaging an irreplacable authentic in some stupid clumsy accident in a grocery store D:

I have the authentic white/gold 20-21 City Edition Doncic that I stupidly got a blue Sharpie mark on the gold dazzle side panel. Still haven’t tried to get it out, I’ve read some stuff but not sure if Sharpie comes out completely and if so, what it would do to the shiny dazzle fabric.

It has been a frustrating wait for some players to have authentics released i.e. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander. I've only seen his City Editions as authentic. Cade Cunningham's through the Pistons team store has a 4-week wait at minimum. Keegan Murray is next on my wish list.
