Yes Henry, I agree your welding is looking much improved with better penetration and strength, another channel I follow is Rusty Beauties with Elin Yakov, he does some incredible repair panels with basic tools, at the moment he is doing a 1966 GT6 but there is plenty to be gleaned as he explains how BL put these cars together. Keep up the good work and look forward to your next one :-)
Thanks Ian, I love rusty beauties. I was Elin’s channel (and ChefTush) that made me decide to try a restoration (the MGB). And I continue to learn from them. But Elin is in a class of his own. Everyone should watch him.
Yup, nice to see all that welding and no drama....although I do miss the drama a bit. The left side on mine was similar to yours and the panel on top of the frame was also gone. looking good...
