      Nathaniel Ayre his dna under the hood.. from sweat. Which is next to impossible to plant... the fact Branson lost lots of weight weeks after he helped kill her, and at a party he confessed to his cousin.. the blonde that like Branson told the true at first but at trial was instructed to say it was all made up or "I can't remember"

    • @SimpAndy
      @SimpAndy 6 лет назад +20

      The only part of that not in the Docco was the DNA under the hood. I'm still left at never hearing an explanation as to why he would disconnect a battery ,yet keep a spare-key of hers that has ONLY his DNA and nothing else, while looking like a freshly cut key. I don't understand how he could perfectly clean up any sign of her DNA in the garage, the trailer, or anywhere in fact. Or any sign of a struggle, a fight, any damage to the bed (where the original story was she was chained to). And the *only* sign of any connection was a single bullet in a garage otherwise perfectly covered up from DNA samples.. that then is proven to have wood particles in the lead.. so he shot her through a wooden board now?
      Seriously, the sweat under the hood is the only sort of "see they cant plant that!" kinda thing.. but its also "sweat dna" they tested how long after he apparently used the vehicle? At that point.. its simply contact dna.

      Avery's newest defense attorney made him take a polygraph and he passed. Is he as slow as the prosecution presents him to be or is he a criminal mastermind who can manipulate a polygraph. I absolutely believe the evidence in her Rav 4 was planted by police using blood previously drawn, zero fingerprints were found.
      My wife and I have been watching plenty of documentaries lately and the most vile in my opinion is the Confession Killer on Netflix. Law enforcement falsified evidence to close cases for the sole purpose of making themselves look good on paper. If, on paper, Jim closed more cases than Frank, Jim gets a promotion for closing more cases. Some detectives and judges were actually interested in the truth but those numbers are low and they were actually attacked by law enforcement for trying to uncover the truth. People more interested in stats on paper are not as concerned about the truth. Stats are important but they do not paint the whole picture. Most of the time they paint a picture according to what people holding the paper want them to say. I would never offer up a blood or DNA sample willingly.
      I was pulled over once driving on a back road with a friend and the officer started searching through my car without permission. I had medication in the glove box and he started pretending like he discovered something. I was not speeding, had no alcohol or drug consumption. He just wanted to harass us. I was maybe 18 at the time. Police are not the enemy, until they are. Remember the car number and possibly their name or badge number. You should not be made to feel like a criminal in a free country. You might be racist if you are wondering what color my skin is, thinking that should matter.

    "In the end I left Wisconsin more confused than when I arrived".
    There's your reasonable doubt ladies and gentleman, and thats all that's needed for Avery to be walking free. This is less about the guilt or innocence of Steven Avery, this is about due process and staying true to that process.

    • @amul83
      @amul83 9 лет назад +8

      +Viddy Well Reasonable doubt is not merely any possible doubt. Every case can be contested and counter-argued but that doesn't necessarily amount to reasonable doubt. FYI- The jury in this case came to their verdict with more evidence and information than you or I ascertained in this documentary.

    • @Jakiejack
      @Jakiejack 9 лет назад +10

      +amul83 I certainly understand what you're saying. I think that the reason why this case is so fascinating to people is because for every piece of evidence that incriminates Avery, theres very strong suspicion and doubt in the surrounding circumstances. From the key to the bullet to the blood in the vehicle, to the confession...from the sheriff department to still be searching on the property when they weren't supposed to be there; not only does there seem to be enough reasonable doubt to exonerate Avery, but the idea that he was partially set up by the sheriff's department and that the real killer may have exploited the bias towards Avery by planting her vehicle and remains there...well it certainly get well into the realm of plausibility.

    • @docoluv9
      @docoluv9 8 лет назад +5

      +amul83 actually when the jury took their initial census 8inocent,3guiltt,1undecided...a few of the jury members stated the 3 guilty ones would not even consider any of the evidence and roughshod over the deliberations. They also stated that they felt like they would have been in danger by the cops if they did not come back with a guilty verdict. Their was no evidence. No blood, no DNA no nothing anywhere on the property. Everything that was there seemed like it was planted especially when the cops being sued found the evidence after the initial few searches came up with nothing. The bones.... Body's cannot burn like that in a burn barrel the fire us not hit enough even with the alleged tires in there.

      +ladyshep They harm this country more than I would have thought possible. I've seen literally dozens of people around the world who have no clue of our Constitution or Bill of Rights, but have judged us for how we behave. 1st, Edward Snowden and Bradley Manning, Wikileaks disclosures on American spying on its own citizens; 2d, capital punishment that was outlawed in civilized countries, but as with Saudi Arabia, ISIS, etc expanded here and applied zealously to people who are mentally challenged; 3d, torture; 4th, drones and innocent victims; 5th, prisons for hire and people of color inordinately filling them out of any proportion to their presence in the population, and 6th, this case and Paradise Lost.
      Basically, the federal govt inside the country, outside the country; states and local govts killing and incarcerating their own citizens---for profit, no less; abuse of other nationals, personally and anonumously; and then this case and Paradise Lost showing just how prosecutors and police target citizens and ignore the law, hiding behind excuses..... Around the world people show their outrage. Imagine a world war where the U.S. is the target because the planet is sick to death of how we treat others and how our govt treats us. They invade to save us from the Cheneys, Bushes, Cruzes and Obamas. They free our political prisoners and set up Edward Snowden and Bradley Manning as President and Vice President until free and open elections can be held, which they are, without the influence of dishonest advertising, television ads, or media that is not open and honest about their biases. News stations are not allowed to pretend to be fair or balanced--as licensees of the people they must be fair to all, give everyone equal time.. The Koch Bros and Karl Rove are tried and convicted and trials of K Street lobbyists, Wall Street bankers, and others who try to buy influence and rights commence. Churches lose their tax exempt status, and the 1st Amendment is enforced zealously. Citizens United is overturned by Constitutional Amendment forever making clear we are NOT and never will be a Christian country and religion has no place in affairs of state. Voting suppression is outlawed and treated as treason. Capitalism returns to Adam Smith's vision....where workers are protected, wealth is never again to be concentrated at the top 1% of 1%, education is free for all and available to anyone who can pass a class (and the more you pass, the more you can take for free, discrimination is illegal, and everyone has cradle to grave healthcare, no one profits from the sale of healthcare or medicine, everyone is covered by disability insurance and social security is funded to actually support people. Interest rates are capped. Energy independence is achieved and fossil fuels are rejected in favor of green energy which receives grants to develop internationally respected proprietary rights for American businesses and employment. Our carbon signature shrinks annually until scientists tell us we actually could not do any more.

A pillow could have been placed against her head with the rifle pressed against it to muffle the sound and prevent blood from splashing everywhere. I think it's likely Steven and Brendan wrapped her body up in the bedding that she was laying on and carried her out of the trailer that way. Lenk and Colburn should not have been there. But that doesn't make Steven Avery innocent. Brendan Dassey confessed three times to 4 different people. First to his cousin, (she is the one who told the police about his confession) then to the two detectives, and finally to his mother when he was speaking to her on the phone from jail. Patrick Morrissey you clearly have NO IDEA of forensics....if you did you you wouldn’t have written this crap statement...they fed every single bit to Brendan, if you can’t see that I would hate for you to EVER be on a jury, I pity the person because of you tunnel vision.....the cops or SOMEONE planted everything in Steve’s trailer and garage...if you had bothered to watch MaM the second series Kathleen Zellner has been able to disprove every bit of “so called evidence “ they used it on Steve....BASIC, BASIC, forensics tells you that there is NO WAY that what Sleaze Kratz spun to the public could have possibly happened ! Which he knew damned well he was NOT allowed to say to the public, let alone that he knew was a load of bullshit !!
      If Steve had killed TH there is NO WAY that even an expert would have been able to clean up all that “BLOOD SPATTER” ....IMPOSSIBLE to not have blood splatter from a murder like that, the bullet doesn’t even have bone in it, it has WOOD ! that bullet DID NOT KILL TH !! ......if she is even dead,....how about following the money for the corrupt county, that will show how the Halbachs are involved .....it was all to get rid of Steve’s 36 Million $$$$$ law suit !! Any fool can see it a mile away !! Even the “DNA” from Steve’s “sweaty finger” on the hood latch has such high DNA it is impossible to come from ANYONES hand .....no matter how many times you put a sweaty hand on the latch....it was heavy DNA PLANTED ! There were bones in THREE places......the list goes on and on....but what I find very amusing is the top lawyer who has in the past prosecuted lawyers for wrong doing has a list so damned long of all the ILLEGAL and offical misconduct that Kratz did during this whole investigation ....going by the massive list pages long he should be behind bars......and he has been involved in the “club” of other corrupt sick officials, look into it. It makes you sick to the stomach....lets just say, I HOPE you don’t have children and live nearby ........hope all these corrupt scum end up behind bars, because the public are starting to come out and stick together with LOTS of truths about these disgusting county officials, they are no longer going to b3 bullied or threatened by them anymore ! Every time he gave an answer they didn't like, they followed up by telling him that they didn't believe him and sometimes made suggestions as to what he should tell them. In short, they put him in a situation where he was compelled to tell them what they wanted to hear with the idea that they wouldn't let him go until he incriminated himself or his uncle. Even if you truly believe that he did help his uncle kill that woman (after all, his mental deficiencies probably made it easy for his uncle to influence him), that confession should've been thrown out of the courtroom on day 1. Then there's the circumstantial evidence against him: The *67 calls to her phone before arrival + non *67 call after. Him taking off work that day and not returning which even according to him he never did. His property being the last stop she made that day on her photo shoots, as well as being her last known location and him being the last known person to see her.

    Are Steven Avery and Brendan Dassey guilty of murder beyond a reasonable doubt? (I don't believe they are.)
    Are the law enforcement offices of both the Manitowoc and Calumet counties responsible for tampering and hiding evidence, as well as coercing and editing statements? (I VERY MUCH believe this.)
    AND
    Who truly killed Teresa Halbach?
    (There are so many theories on this that it's mind-numbing, so I really have no clue. This, however, is what truly matters at the end, and I hope the truth is brought to light sooner than later. RIP Teresa. You were a bright soul and are missed by all who knew you.)

They brought up the fact it was possible some things may have been planted but didnt gop into whether it was possible Stephen could have done this either (played Devils Adovocate) despite their being a mountian of evidence pointing in his direction. The Jury didnt have such limitations, so we cannot really say for real if there wasnt reasonable doubt.
      They said the blood was planted so they did the only test possible to suggest it may have been ( doesnt mean it still wasnt planted by other means) and the test came back negative. Once that happens how seriously do you want the Jury to bleive the outlandish theory put forward that he was framed?

The doubt in this case is not even slightly based on the assumption that Avery wouldn't be capable of this so it really doesn't have any relevance. I wouldn't want Ted Bundy go to prison for a murder he didn't do either, simply because it would mean that the one who actually did it walks free. Most of the boys Gacy killed trusted him enough to be alone with him at which point he would show them his "rope trick". Once they were securely bound he raped and strangled them. Gacy rarely made direct advances on the boys because he did not want to make them his consensual lover, he wanted to kill them.

    How can there be a conviction beyond reasonable doubt given the following:
    1. During the police interrogation of Brendan Dasey he said that Avery stabbed her. The officers say "come on now be honest, something about the head". Dasey sits there for minutes with a confused look on his face and eventually said "he cut off her hair". The officers say "what else". Dasey said "he punched her". The officers say "what else". Dasey said "he cut her throat" and the officers say "what else happens to her in her head", (THIS IS THE SECOND TIME THAT THE OFFICERS HAVE SAID WHAT HAPPENED TO HER HEAD - DASEY HAS NEVER OFFERED UP INFORMATION ABOUT DAMAGE TO TARESA'S HEAD ON HIS OWN) by this stage Dasey clearly looks to me like he is thinking, what do they want me to say. The officers say repeatedly "what else" as Dasey sits there with a confused look. Dasey then said "that's all I can remember". The officer then said and I quote "ok then I'm just gunna come right out and ask you, who shot her in the head" and Dasey replies instantly "he did". I mean this is the most blatant coercion you could ever possibly witness, how can anybody with a reasonable amount of intelligence view this as a concrete confession from a 16 year old boy with a low IQ. The officers literally created the narrative for Dasey to say "HE DID" I mean it's just beyond comprehension that this was admissible. Plus he also asks the officer if he will be released by 1:30 because he has a project due at school, so it is clear that he has no idea that he is confessing and will go to jail so he is just telling them what they want to hear to get out of there as quickly as he can. He has no idea of the consequences of his words.
    2. Nov 3rd 2005 - Truck driver tells Colborn that there is a green rav 4 half a mile up a road that is in the bushes on the side of the road
    which is not on Avery RD
    3. Nov 3rd 2005 - Colborn radios in to HQ asking what the license plate number of the rav 4 is and then states
    emphatically "99 TOYOTA" which sounds like he is standing in front of the car. The car is Teresa Halbach's. This is testimony in first trial with the recording played.
    4. Nov 4th 2005 - Avery sees headlights and his brother sees tail lights of a car on the edges of the property
    5. Nov 5th 2005 - The rav 4 is found on Averys property right on the edge of the property line
    6. Nov 8th 2005 - Colborn suddenly finds the rav4 key in Averys home on the "SEVENTH" search and it is in plain sight.
    7. The key has only Averys DNA and not Teresa's, how is that possible.
    8. Avery's blood sample from the evidence room at the police station is open and the vial clearly shows the puncture of a needle in the top of it - why? There should be a paper trail of why it was used but there isn't.
    So this guy rang up the photography place and specifically asked for Taresa plus he leaves messages everywhere about meeting her that day. He kills her on his property and leaves the bones in a fire pit on his property and the car on his property all when he just got out of an 18 year jail sentence for a crime he didn't commit and is about to receive a 34 million dollar settlement. No one is that stupid.

The sheriff's department and Kratz destroyed so many lives and are obstructing justice for Teresa, Steve and Brendan! I really like Dean Strang. I feel he's an authentically kind and caring person. But I think, because he didn't TOTALLY believe in his client (which I feel, a lawyer must) he might've slacked a bit.
    Especially surrounding the cell phone pings. Not sure why Strang and Buting couldn't obtain Teresa's records which could have helped vindicate Avery once or if it was established that Zipperer and not Avery was her last appointment.
    I think all a viewer has as far as 'truth' is their very own instinct. And my instincts strongly feel, Avery did not do this.

    I'm on the Avery is innocent side but I've had 2 lingering questions that I can't seem to find an answer to on the internet.
    1) Did Steven ever give an explanation as to why he dialed *67 when trying to contact Teresa on the day she went missing ?
    2) Even though there was no physical evidence of Teresa being 'shackled" to his bed post...did he actually own a pair of hand cuffs and leg shackles? If so, did he give any explanation as to where he got them and why he kept them around?
    Once again, I believe he was set up, however I feel these 2 questions being answered would strengthen his case. Perhaps I missed it and someone can help answer in the comment section????

      i believe they did find a single pair of handcuffs in the bedroom ...but no dna evidence on bed, matress, floors walls or ceiling, and no shackle marks on bed
      the argument there is if someone was murdered so brutally like they said it would be impossible to clean every little spec of blood, this is why they moved the location of the crime scene to the garage because they had no evidence in the bedroom basically trying everything they can to convict him so they dont have to pay him millions of dollars in a lawsuit
