    Very tempting for portraits and dop considering the 45mm f1.2 is far more expensive this is a excellent alternative

    Glad you clarified that 1.4 has a 2.8 “look” on MFT, but still lets the same amount of light into the sensor as a 1.4 on a 35mm sensor. One additional clarification I would make is: 1.4, whether MFT or 35mm sensor, with same focal length lens and with same distance from subject and subject to background will produce very similar background blur. In this case, however, the picture will be framed different. So, for all intents and purposes, you are right to say 1.4 on a MFT will produce a 2.8 background blur look (when framing the photo the same). 👍

    Also the fact its sharper than the legendary 75mm f1.8 is nuts to me

    Unfortunately sigma wont make new lenses for mft 😢
