As a Branded Player, I can Acknowledge thay Sanctifire is the problem card, not Puppet. We were just replace the Lock, with another, Ido, Kristya, Jowgen for example. I do not think they'll ban Sanctifire, at least not yet, There is thay new Alba Monster coming, and we need Sanctifire to utilize its attacking effect But if they do ban Sanctifire, the deck will be fine, we have other options and can utilize Dragoon and Shaddol package for Winda.
and you just play ido instead, which is slightly easier for them to out, but not impossible. enemy controller isnt that poplar anymore, and forbidden droplet already outed sanctifire albeit its stronger against ido

I disagree, you can tribute set over Ido in the TCG and if you book it face-down or get rid of it in any way the effect is gone. The game is full of floodgate effects, what matters is whether those linger once said card leaves the field and whether they actually activate and start a Chain Link, unlike puppet. I am not saying that floodgate strategies are healty for the game and I play Branded Despia myself without any weird locks or unhealty techs. What I am saying is that in the current state of the game, where many old and new decks use floodgates, it would be pointless to ban Sanctifire just beacuse of this reason. As long as the floodgate can be negated, got rid of, or even booked, after it hits the field I'll personally just deal with it, like I do against other decks. And no, I don't like floodgates one bit and in my opinion gimmick puppet nightmare has to be banned. Just do not hit Sanctifire for other cards' fault, it has many more uses other than puppet locking.

the barrone hit devastated my swordsoul deck, unfortunately the generic cards are better used in better decks so offer them too much advantage too. But I would make the argument it should be the strong decks getting hit first and then the generic card

It wouldn't be the most oppressive strategy like Fiendsmith or even Runick, and it would be another budget level package for decks. It would also allow Tri-Brigade to be a good deck again, which i'm sure would maybe shake up the meta a little bit similar to Orcust. If anyone thinks both Drident and Barrage at 1 is overkill though, i'm all for hearing why.

I disagree with banning Puppet, Sanctifire is the issue here. Branded shouldn't have a lock to begin with, the deck is otherwise a beatdown strategy. Its basically Blue-Eyes if it had HERO-esque fusion lines, and that playstyle (whether with Chimera or not) is pretty strong and unique in its own right. The card is basically just a crutch for the deck, and banning targets instead of the card itself would just produce another Halqifibrax situation in the community. This isnt like Crimson Dragon where the only issue is Calamity, Sanctifire's lock (whether its Puppet or what have you) just produces very unfun game states and goes against the identity of the deck. Like, the only reason Destiny HERO Dark Angel is still legal is because the deck its a part of is just awful going first... Although, you can also summon it off of Sanctifire. I mean, Dark Angel is a dark monster too. It could easily replace Puppet and would basically be a Naturia Beast lock. Are we going to have to ban Dark Angel also just so Branded can keep this card who's only other good purpose is to be a big body? Like, they could just summon a different monster if they need to go for lethal, this is an awful defense.

Albion feels like the problem to me, but I guess if your deck can’t beat a jowgen lock then you shouldn’t be able to win. Also not in favor of a Beatrice ban. Cards good, but like apo it simply enhances a decks ceiling. If the decks unplayable it will remain unplayable Beatrice or not.
i agree with your reasoning on beatrice, but my issue is when the fiendsmith cards come out, all of these top tier decks will also have it to FTK or set up further combos, but i guess thats just a difference of opinion
The Fiendsmith engine will make Beatrice very easy to spam and abuse. It will have to be banned like Chaos Ruler. There's gonna be puppet lock lines for every deck that runs Fiendsmith if Beatrice is allowed.
Love these banlist videos. OCG has maxx C though which helps them draw their engine. We don’t so pot of prosperity is kind of like TCG consistency helper. Yes I hate playing snake eye, negate their hand then they activate pot and keep going BUT limiting ash and wanted to one would make pot less effective with less starters/extenders. Plus it helps rouge decks which is nice. I get tired of playing meta decks all the time i don’t mind switching it up. Ok thanks for coming to my Tedd Talk.

Have to disagree with the puppet ban, sanctifire needs to go. Just because ido or ras disciple are less broken doesnt mean i should have to draw the out just to play the game. What if the deck i play cant play something like droplet? I 100% believe sanctifire needs to go, it also helps branded be branded again and not just a lock your opponent out of the game deck.
Same argument applies to every other deck as well then at that point. Every deck has that draw the out to type of card or did you draw the hand traps or breakers you need to not lose to their one card combos and extenders. Just a thought.
@@eclipse3479 not really actually. I play and have played all of the meta decks. Currently playing tenpai and was playing snake-eye since before poplar. I look at the game objectively in these 20+ years of playing so I wouldn’t just talk to talk. I extensively play these days and learn their strengths and weaknesses. Since alot of people hate branded so much, if they just took 6 months to a year of only playing the deck, everyone would understand what I mean. The deck has so many issues and having a 2 part boss monster(sanctifire and mirrorjade) is needed. The card wasn’t designed for the reason it’s used. It’s mainly used because the deck is so easy to interrupt and often does, deck bricks on monsters and can’t reliably play non engine, but the one boss they have to help with its issues(getting another turn) everyone wants gone. Just something to think about
As a pendulum player, I’m glad someone recognizes that as much as I love the deck, we aren’t going to do anything special in this format if we get Electrum back. I remember buying a copy and not even a year later it got banned
This is the worst banlist wishlist I've ever seen. Hit all the jet synchrons instead of the halqs, and consistency hits are garbage ocg mentality. Legitimately this banlist wishlist reflects the opinion of someone who has no idea wtf he's talking about, both competitively and casually.

For the pricing: In Japan Konami has, way more competition as a card game. In Germany (maybe all of europe) for example you dont have that many Pokemon or Digimon TCG players. You have mostly YGO or Magic. So Konami has it way easier because people wont switch TCGs that much. For the banlist: The OCG does consistency hits and the meta representation is the same here and in the OCG.

I really like a lot of these ideas, and agree with a good amount. There are some other ideas i have too. I think flamberge and/or OSS might be needed to be banned. Without oss, they lose 6 starters in one, and flamberge does a bit too much. Personally want d shifter and barrier banned. At least you have chance to destroy or play around others. You have NO way around lingering floodgates, and shifter especially shuts down 95% of decks. Beatrice im confident will get the boot at some point. I hate that sanctifire's legacy is toxic locks, and want to hit puppet and jowgen (could stop stun a little) but i understand if it happens. An idea for pendulums to get stronger alongside electromite is supreme king starving venom. Only at 1 most certainly, but its at 1 in ocg and master duel and doesnt do anything. Let them play around handtraps. I think ip and sp should go at some point, but i dont expect it anytime soon. Tenpai i think mainly needs just a slap on the wrist, and summoning and/or kaimen are the right calls. Prosperity is running on borrowed time as well. 50/50 on crossout
Sanctifier needs an errata to negate the effects of any monster it summons that doesn't mention Fallen of Albaz. That would literally solve everything. It would suck to see it get banned
My biggest *wishes?* I'd like to have 2 copies of Chaos Space. I'd also like Premature Burial to come back to 1. I also really wish for Snake-Eyes and Sinful Spoils to just get banned into oblivion. I want the deck to be basically neutered and crippled.
2:40 completely agree. The game is full of monsters that floodgate or lock the opponent, both old and new cards. The issue is exactly as stated: gimmick puppet nightmare has an effect that doesn't activate and that lingers even if the card leaves the field while the other targets lose their effect simply by being booked face-down, tributed or when they leave the field in general.

My personal take on Diabellstar/Sinful spoils in Snake Eye is that the ideal would be to simply ban OSS. This would effectively take 6 starters away from Snake Eye, and without OSS the rest of the Diabellstar package becomes much more fair.
As a snake eye player appo is the the biggest problem for everyone if I can secure a 3-4 neg appo with whale and two fires infield it’s pretty much game at that point appo getting banned would hurt.
I completely agree with calamity, it’s so fu***** annoying and basically turns decks like centurion into “if you don’t open hand traps - you lose” type of decks which is very unhealthy for the game itself
With having Toad back on the menu I don't think Elf will be back any time soon. The revive and protection are just too strong for Spright (as someone who would love to have my Spright back at full power)
TCG F/L list happens every quarter except for emergency ones. These videos about the list are too early. The next list will most likely be around August or September if we follow the pattern. With that said, I'd rather ban Sanctifire than ban any floodgate monster. 3k ATK, can not be targeted and initiates turn skip. Why would other cards be hit for the fault of 1 card?
For a snake eye hit, either put to 1 or ban the sinful spoils spell card that is part of the snake eyes deck, that way the deck has less searching power through black which and the deck itself

Bann flamberge dragon, snake-eye will be a usable engine but it will stop sh*ttin out link mons, at least alone, and if u still use it as a helper engine it will be more fair and usable

Branded is not a problem because if you go first against them you will go uninterrupted. We have to go through broken boards due to this. You see me complaining? I dont play puppet because it takes no skill. Everything in branded summons it. Sending gimmick isnt hard since everyone wants to hit branded fusion instead of sending gimmik. Branded sanctifire is a really good card but not broken since it can be stopped. I use it in dark magician to special dark magician and albaz and fuse to dragoon or dragon knight. Kashtira fenrir is far better than sanctifire since he doesnt need 2 cards to summon. His free.

Shifter is a needed card in modern Yu-Gi-Oh!, and Fenrir hasn't done almost anything this format yet to 1? This isn't a very good list, and a lot of the suggestions wouldn't fix the format.
More people almost everything you said on here is pretty damn spot on a separate saying MaxxC is a badly designed card it's not good for the game actually it's a great design car it's great for the game it's never should have been banned it never should have been limited it should have stayed at 3:00 all the time cuz it helps the game play of the game be fair and balanced for everyone

The two cards not mentioned that should see SOME consideration for being banned are I:P (summoning disruptions during the opponents turn has gotten more and more oppressive AND limits future generic card design for the link mechanic) and Accescode Talker (it's a game ender due to the fact that you cant respond to it's popping eff)
You know floodgates are a forever effect. You can't compare shifter and deck lockdown to skill drain and summon limit. If you're going to say that then you should restrict Droll and lock bird to 1. I couldn’t disagree more with the puppet over Albion ban. It’s very easy to pivot into a different lock if puppet goes, the problem is Albion. If you were to ban puppet to keep Albion you’d need to ban all the potential targets also, at that point the realisation will hit that Albion is just another Halq. Hit the real problem and let us move on from these blow out game winning locks
its totally an option to ban sancti, i'd like to keep it around for 1 more format, and yes Ido is a replacement, but its not as good of one. (also if they dont ban Sancti, they can reprint both it and Ido to cash in on it again)
Imma take it a step further and say that both albion and puppet need a ban. Cards that summon other cards to the opponents fields always end up being some degenerate stuff. So albion needs to go. On the other hand puppet puts up a lock that is a lingering effect unlike jowgen and ido. Also again waiting to be abused by another another card in the future. So for the sake of not having to limit their card design problematic cards like these should be banned :). Don’t know why everyone debates which should be banned when both can go without hurting their respective decks much at all. Branded plays like a real deck which it is capable of, and gimmick doesn’t even use this dang card anyways

why not just ban the problem card of snake-eyes, original sinfuls spoils snake-eyes enables stupid amount´s of one card starters, and let´s you bridge into so many powerful engines, limiting snake-eye cards does almost nothing, cause they can just reborn cards using promethian/oak/flamberge and they have soo many one card starters evin if we limit the entire archetype, heck even fiendsmith gives you full combo

Have to disagree with the puppet ban, sanctifire needs to go. Just because ido or ras disciple are less broken doesnt mean i should have to draw the out just to play the game. What if the deck i play cant play something like droplet? I 100% believe sanctifire needs to go, it also helps branded be branded again and not just a lock your opponent out of the game deck.
Same argument applies to every other deck as well then at that point. Every deck has that draw the out to type of card or did you draw the hand traps or breakers you need to not lose to their one card combos and extenders. Just a thought.
L take tbh, ban all the cards that lock and leave Sanctifire. It’s literally that simple.

@@eclipse3479 not really actually. I play and have played all of the meta decks. Currently playing tenpai and was playing snake-eye since before poplar. I look at the game objectively in these 20+ years of playing so I wouldn’t just talk to talk. I extensively play these days and learn their strengths and weaknesses. Since alot of people hate branded so much, if they just took 6 months to a year of only playing the deck, everyone would understand what I mean. The deck has so many issues and having a 2 part boss monster(sanctifire and mirrorjade) is needed. The card wasn’t designed for the reason it’s used. It’s mainly used because the deck is so easy to interrupt and often does, deck bricks on monsters and can’t reliably play non engine, but the one boss they have to help with its issues(getting another turn) everyone wants gone. Just something to think about
As a pendulum player, I’m glad someone recognizes that as much as I love the deck, we aren’t going to do anything special in this format if we get Electrum back. I remember buying a copy and not even a year later it got banned
yeah pend was one of my favorite decks with electrum around and its sad its still banned!
This is the worst banlist wishlist I've ever seen. Hit all the jet synchrons instead of the halqs, and consistency hits are garbage ocg mentality.

For the pricing: In Japan Konami has, way more competition as a card game. In Germany (maybe all of europe) for example you dont have that many Pokemon or Digimon TCG players. You have mostly YGO or Magic. So Konami has it way easier because people wont switch TCGs that much.
For the banlist: The OCG does consistency hits and the meta representation is the same here and in the OCG.

I really like a lot of these ideas, and agree with a good amount. There are some other ideas i have too.
I think flamberge and/or OSS might be needed to be banned. Without oss, they lose 6 starters in one, and flamberge does a bit too much.
Personally want d shifter and barrier banned. At least you have chance to destroy or play around others. You have NO way around lingering floodgates, and shifter especially shuts down 95% of decks.
Beatrice im confident will get the boot at some point. I hate that sanctifire's legacy is toxic locks, and want to hit puppet and jowgen (could stop stun a little) but i understand if it happens.
An idea for pendulums to get stronger alongside electromite is supreme king starving venom. Only at 1 most certainly, but its at 1 in ocg and master duel and doesnt do anything. Let them play around handtraps.
I think ip and sp should go at some point, but i dont expect it anytime soon.
Tenpai i think mainly needs just a slap on the wrist, and summoning and/or kaimen are the right calls.

2:40 completely agree. The game is full of monsters that floodgate or lock the opponent, both old and new cards. The issue is exactly as stated: gimmick puppet nightmare has an effect that doesn't activate and that lingers even if the card leaves the field while the other targets lose their effect simply by being booked face-down, tributed or when they leave the field in general.

My personal take on Diabellstar/Sinful spoils in Snake Eye is that the ideal would be to simply ban OSS. This would effectively take 6 starters away from Snake Eye, and without OSS the rest of the Diabellstar package becomes much more fair.
As a snake eye player appo is the the biggest problem for everyone if I can secure a 3-4 neg appo with whale and two fires infield it’s pretty much game at that point appo getting banned would hurt.
Totally agree with your list, especially the Snake Eyes cards. Ash, Bonfire and or Poplar needs to be at 1 or one of them has to go entirely.

TCG F/L list happens every quarter except for emergency ones. These videos about the list are too early. The next list will most likely be around August or September if we follow the pattern. With that said, I'd rather ban Sanctifire than ban any floodgate monster. 3k ATK, can not be targeted and initiates turn skip. Why would other cards be hit for the fault of 1 card?
You said they happen every quarter. Then the next list should drop in July since the last one was in April.

For a snake eye hit, either put to 1 or ban the sinful spoils spell card that is part of the snake eyes deck, that way the deck has less searching power through black which and the deck itself

Branded is not a problem because if you go first against them you will go uninterrupted. We have to go through broken boards due to this. You see me complaining? I dont play puppet because it takes no skill. Everything in branded summons it. Sending gimmick isnt hard since everyone wants to hit branded fusion instead of sending gimmik. Branded sanctifire is a really good card but not broken since it can be stopped. I use it in dark magician to special dark magician and albaz and fuse to dragoon or dragon knight. Kashtira fenrir is far better than sanctifire since he doesnt need 2 cards to summon. His free.

Not to be disrespectful but you are DELUSIONAL if you think sanctifire doesnt need to go. However, everything else discussed is pretty reasonable. The two cards not mentioned that should see SOME consideration for being banned are I:P (summoning disruptions during the opponents turn has gotten more and more oppressive AND limits future generic card design for the link mechanic) and Accescode Talker (it's a game ender due to the fact that you cant respond to it's popping eff)

I couldn’t disagree more with the puppet over Albion ban. It’s very easy to pivot into a different lock if puppet goes, the problem is Albion.
If you were to ban puppet to keep Albion you’d need to ban all the potential targets also, at that point the realisation will hit that Albion is just another Halq. Hit the real problem and let us move on from these blow out game winning locks

Imma take it a step further and say that both albion and puppet need a ban.
Cards that summon other cards to the opponents fields always end up being some degenerate stuff. So albion needs to go.
On the other hand puppet puts up a lock that is a lingering effect unlike jowgen and ido. Also again waiting to be abused by another another card in the future.
So for the sake of not having to limit their card design problematic cards like these should be banned :). Don’t know why everyone debates which should be banned when both can go without hurting their respective decks much at all. Branded plays like a real deck which it is capable of, and gimmick doesn’t even use this dang card anyways
