How to make British Christmas Crackers - takes just 2 minutes and you can use things you have lying around the house (paper offcuts, magazine pages, string/ribbon)! Low cost, sustainable, zero waste and lots of fun! There is no need to use "snaps" - they are just as much fun without! 🖐😃 I'm always here to cheer you on with my pom poms! You can support me by subscribing and liking this video - thank you! 💖🖐😊 Find me daily on Instagram instagram.com/dianeindenmark You can find my blog at dianedenmark.com and my Christmas prep videos are here ruclips.net/p/PLxIYCyTLBED9iNyusR1K8xSfRBD7Slasb

Diane, I’ve had the necessary supplies for about a month now but sometimes got a bit overwhelmed by the online tutorials. Yours is so absolutely perfect and I thank you for this because I still have time to make my crackers for this Christmas! You are the best…

You're welcome! I know there are lots of "perfect" tutorials and "perfect" looking crackers out there but, in the end, it's the joy of making them that's fun for me 😊

They look great. I think they might pull and pop a bit better if you only put tape on one end of the snap when you’re assembling it. I didn’t realise they were a British thing. I kind of assumed everyone would have them.

@@DianeinDenmark hehe ... what fun we had back in the day. Unfortunately, we had a melamine table that became permanently marked, much to the chagrin of my mum, courtesy of 'The curious incident of the Crepe Paper and Orange Squash'. An Agatha Christie-eque incident worthy of Miss Marple or Hercule Poirot 😉
