      Hey John,
I'm a retired MSP who broke in at the old Rehoboth Barracks in 1964-66. I really liked the area and missed it when I was transferred. I've traveled around the sun 85 times now and am enjoying grandkids and great-grandkids. Life is good.
      Semper Fi,
      Bill Lonergan

Bill, thanks for replying. Glad you are doing well. I remember Rita and I visiting you and your wife (Carol?) in Dighton/Taunton when Rita was pregnant for our second son. You guys came to our apartment in Ocean Grove also. I was only on Swansea 3.5 yrs. Pay was awful. Went to school got a couple degrees finally. Retired accountant. Good memories. Semper fi. John

I remember there was a Slappy and Tanksley down there around that time. At least to the best of my memory. I almost remember a staff seargent Lacroix.

Di Tanksley is the one who punched me right in the mouth receiving mail call wrong in his opinion I still dispute I did it wrong, anyway that was 1987.

These are the people we'd be getting in the Fleet by about the time it was over for me, the people who I had a right to smack around as squad leader if they gave me a hard time, write-up, make clean a ladder-well--all the people who were cooler than me and had friends would pay for it.
