IMO, the only SEC team (other than Vandy) that has any business giving bama 💩 about losing to Vandy is Texas, because so far, Texas is the only other SEC team to beat Vandy that hasn't also lost to bama. And so far, I haven't heard too many Texas fans talking trash about their 3 point win over Vandy.
Where is a list of the SOS used by the committee? I'm unable to find it anywhere. I've googled SOS. I've checked 5 different website (including the denigrated FPI), and I can't find a SOS worse that 41st for Tennessee. If the committee has UT's SOS at 107, then they are a joke. That SOS is not even in the ballpark of any SOS ranking I can actually find and access.
As a Missouri fan it would be a shame and not right if Texas A&M didn't get in the playoffs if they beat the short horns from Texas they should get in.
IF, the Vols lose to Georgia, but win out after, and Alabama wins out, the Vols will have the head to head win, and a win over a common opponent in Vanderbilt, that should put the Vols in over Bama
@ Ok why is one more valuable than the other, you can’t say cause Vandy isn’t Georgia cause Vandy beat Bama, they have a one in one in the common opponent, then it should go to head to head, the only thing Bama has over the Vols is strength of schedule but should be trumped by the head to head win and common opponent win combined, not only did the Vols beat them, but beat someone than beat them on their "tough" schedule.
Unfortunately GA didn't play Vandy which would've shed some light on things...but So. Carolina & Mizzou also beat Vandy, but they both lost to bama. Bama's SOS would give them an edge
Mike, how did you sit there and say that Tennessee has a SoS of 100+??? Where the hell did you or the committee get that? We have Bama and Georgia on the schedule and somehow there’s 100 schedules harder than ours?
I think this person is trying to explain that it’s not even possible for TN’s schedule to be ranked 107! I get the committee is using the same data you’re referencing, but they need to check the data and make sure the info was entered into the computer correctly because that’s WAY off. Pull up Indiana’s schedule and compare it to TN’s and tell me they’re virtually the same! It’s NOT POSSIBLE!
For any Tennessee fans trashing bama's ranking...i'd sit down for now...because if GA beats you this weekend, the best quality win you will have is over bama. So bama doing well and ranked well is going to help Tenn more than anything else.
Incorrect, listen to the beginning of the video (prior to the rankings release). The data says Penn State and Indiana are top 5 teams and that's exactly what they came out with.
The Indiana jump over Tennessee is ridiculous. The committee wants them ranked high enough that they will stay in the Top 12 after Ohio State wrecks them.
I've watched 3 Indiana games, they are very good and are well coached, I'll remember your name if Indiana beats Ohio State and when Indiana beats Tennessee.
Agree just goes to show how all of the AP polls and coaching polls have been pure shitte. So apparently beating a TOP 10 in September doesn't matter in November if that team is not above 5or6 wins when these CFB playoffs first rankings come out 😮😅😮😅😮😅😮😅
My question is why in the world do you wver say you are a TN fan. That is fake . To be honest Cousin Shane is the best thing about this show. Seems like Mike alk you care about is getting on Paul Finebaum show like your a star now.
It's not even close to being possible that Vols strength of schedule is ever been in the hundreds c'mon Mike your looking at the wrong thing. They're no higher than the 30"s in schedule that's just stupid 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Go Cocks 🐔 🤙 #11 JP poll #21 cfp rankings and still most underrated in the country. Hoping for 3 (more) blowouts, and we'll see how serious the committee is about "12 best teams"
Texas is not #3! They only have 1 "ranked win" vs Vandy and got wrecked by UGA! I feel that the CFP committee put them in so that the B1G doesnt have the top 4 to themselves.
Agree.. Bama should be punish for that lose BUT that also should include IF UTK loses to Vanderbilt also. That Notre Dame lost to NIU should also be punish.. The 9-0 Army team should be ranked above Notre Dame for sure 😅😮
Well if it was today the SEC would have 2 teams for sure in the semis, not sure if Tennessee can take Oregon, if Nico can hit deep shots then maybe 3 teams. Not sure whats to really hate so far, we all knew teams that weren't worthy would get in, lets just hope they spread SEC teams across so we get 4 in the semis going forward
No one beating Penn St by 28 at Happy Valley when they are good. Despite them being chokers, those fans will be so nuts you wont be able to hear yourself think. Would be a close defensive struggle and weather will be a factor. Penn St probably favored by 2 points vs Ole Miss.
Alabama isn’t kicking ass in the “didn’t lose to Vanderbilt” category. I have no idea how they can lose to Vandy , never even taking a lead as I recall, and basically look fairly pedestrian against everyone but an overrated LSU and a deflated Georgia program. How are they a lock? F bama
You mean the deflated Georgia & overrated LSU that are also still in the discussion, even though they lost to Bama? Also, Wisconsin & Mizzou just called...they want to know what they got their azzes kicked for.
Oh it's rigged.. Google exactly WHO MAKED UP THE CFB playoffs 13 member committee..then you will easy see that is very POLITICAL with being AD heavy and with Big10 peeps..no one on that committee has anything to do with SEC at all..past or present.. RIGGED FROM DAY 1 DURING THE 4 TEAM PLAYOFFS and EVEN NOW DURING THIS NEW 12 TEAM PLAYOFFS.. SO IN TWO OR THREE YEARS 2028 WHENEVER IT MOVES TO 16 TEAM OR 18 TEAM PLAYOFFS IT STILL WILL BE RIGGED BASED OF WHOMEVER IN ON THIS 13 MEMBER COMMITTEE 😮😮😅😮😅😮😅😮😅
Boy, starting to see a lot of folks scared about the possibility of bama getting in.
Texas look like a high school team when they lost to Georgia, they were completely befuddled. And then twice the refs try to tip the scales for Texas.
Mike cracks me the hell up man. 😂
The SEC deserves all the spots. Argue with a damn wall. Hotty Toddy

Ok, I've found one at 48, one at 54, and the worst at 61 or 68 (can't remember exactly now). Still not in the 107 ballpark though.
Unfortunately, that's not how this works. Georgia would also be a common opponent that would favor Alabama over Tennessee.

I am literally reading the data the committee uses, this isn't an opinion. Tennessee SoS is #107, that's hurting the Vols right now.
I think this person is trying to explain that it’s not even possible for TN’s schedule to be ranked 107! I get the committee is using the same data you’re referencing, but they need to check the data and make sure the info was entered into the computer correctly because that’s WAY off. indianas stadium holds 52,626 so not too far off lol
For any Tennessee fans trashing bama's ranking...i'd sit down for now...because if GA beats you this weekend, the best quality win you will have is over bama. So bama doing well and ranked well is going to help Tenn more than anything else.
The same arguments against Tennessee can be used and are even stronger against Penn St, Indiana (assuming IU loses to OSU) and ND.
Incorrect, listen to the beginning of the video (prior to the rankings release). The data says Penn State and Indiana are top 5 teams and that's exactly what they came out with.
@ThatSECPodcast what's Penn states quality win? Any top 25 wins? Same with Indiana, less so with ND but an embarrassing loss to niu
9-3 sec team >10-2 mid conferences teams > 11-1 Go5
TBH
The Indiana jump over Tennessee is ridiculous. The committee wants them ranked high enough that they will stay in the Top 12 after Ohio State wrecks them.
I've watched 3 Indiana games, they are very good and are well coached, I'll remember your name if Indiana beats Ohio State and when Indiana beats Tennessee.
@@ronaldtentschert6876I've watched them too, but I don't share your opinion. They are a product of their schedule.
Strength of schedule at beginning of year is not the same as the year goes on
Nor should it be as teams show they are frauds or world beaters. Unfortunately SoS is proving to be a non-factor.
Agree just goes to show how all of the AP polls and coaching polls have been pure shitte.
So apparently beating a TOP 10 in September doesn't matter in November if that team is not above 5or6 wins when these CFB playoffs first rankings come out 😮😅😮😅😮😅😮😅
This 13 members committee looks like they doing another of day drinking while ranking this shitte for sure 😮😅😮😅😮😅😮😅
I can't imagine Alabama playing against Indiana in the snow. Especially when some is already on the ground. 🥶🌨
Yes I know Bama would only win by 21
Nobody cares about snow dude
According to some medium range forecast data...Bama could be playing Oklahoma in snow in 2 weeks
My question is why in the world do you wver say you are a TN fan. That is fake . To be honest Cousin Shane is the best thing about this show. Seems like Mike alk you care about is getting on Paul Finebaum show like your a star now.
I don't think I ever really talk about being a Tennessee fan, not sure where you are getting that.
You just told a lie. Tenneseee's strength of schedule is 35 not in the 100's. Smdh
Tennessee strength of schedule (based on the model the committee is using) is #107
It's not even close to being possible that Vols strength of schedule is ever been in the hundreds c'mon Mike your looking at the wrong thing. They're no higher than the 30"s in schedule that's just stupid 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Tennessee strength of schedule is currently #107
There screwing the SEC. It’s time to push back on this crap next year
Go Cocks 🐔 🤙

According to the model being used by the committee, Texas is indeed #3.
If you lose to Vandy you should be out of the playoffs.. period.
I'd be more embarrassed losing to Kentucky or Arkansas personally.
Vanderbilt got better team this year tho. They deserve get some respect. They even almost beat Texas too.
So what happens when you lose to NIU.
Agree..
Bama should be punish for that lose BUT that also should include IF UTK loses to Vanderbilt also.
That Notre Dame lost to NIU should also be punish..
The 9-0 Army team should be ranked above Notre Dame for sure 😅😮
Bottom line since UGA dropped out of CFB playoffs because you are out of AP TOP 10 😮😅😮😅
Mizzou and LSU are overrated it’s ESPN way of sneaking Bama in smh
Imagine if ByU wins the natty 😂😂😂 Thad suck ass
If a SEC or Big10 team doesn't win natty for the next 3 years..things will change big time after the 2027 national championship game 😮😅😮😅😮😅😮😅
Tennessee has two top 25 wins. NC State was top 25 when we played them....BOIII!
Tennessee played 4 or 5 teams that were ranked when they plated this is a joke and bias as hell. GBO 🍊🍊🍊🍊🍊
The committee doesn't care what a team was ranked the day the game was played. The committee cares what a team is ranked today.
Well if it was today the SEC would have 2 teams for sure in the semis, not sure if Tennessee can take Oregon, if Nico can hit deep shots then maybe 3 teams. @ oh Wisconsin and Mizzou just called😂 a couple of the most vanilla teams in the country.
UT’s worst loss is Arkansas, Alabama’s is Vandy.. Tell me it’s not rigged.
Oh it's rigged..
Google exactly WHO MAKED UP THE CFB playoffs 13 member committee..then you will easy see that is very POLITICAL with being AD heavy and with Big10 peeps..no one on that committee has anything to do with SEC at all..past or present..

How in the world does anyone see Tenn ahead of Tex, put down the pipe guys!!!
Texas have no ranked wins lol
Texass SOS is shitte..
Its over 100 out of 134 teams
Tennessee has much better SOS and SOR based ESPN 😮
I have no dog in the fight but Texas got whooped at home against the only ranked team they had to play
@@user-kd4xl2dq1c well Tennessee SOS and SOR for two main reasons..stop your day drinking 🍸 🤪
This dude
These playoff brackets are dog sh*t
I am just here to tell you how I feel stop acting like your a TN fan.
