Your website shows the tc 808 at a 78D shore hardness and the original Art Cast formula at a 72D shore hardness. Of course it's not a massive difference but my question which one is harder? I don't know which way the numbers run in this scale. The website also mentions it has a "thermoplastic feel". What does that feel like?
78D is harder than 72D. As the scale goes up, higher numbers = harder materials. As for the "thermoplastic feel," many of the BJB resins are used in the product development world to prototype products that will later be injection molded. TC-808 has the feel of an injection molded plastic of similar hardness.
Do you ever find cure inhibition with hot glue?
The only hot glue that I’ve had issues with is one I bought in bulk from Uline. Might have been a specific type.
