How many M1’s did it take to kill ethiron? And does providence thorns work? ( I’m about to do ethiron for the first time and I suck at the game lowkie )

providence thorns doesnt work because ethirons body cannot be damaged until he gets stunned(except his hands) but since prov thorns slash appears on his body it doesnt do dmg the only way you can do it by putting the last bone while parrying one of his attacks as prov thorns has a little bit of delay the slash will come out after he is stunned meaning it will damage him and depending on your build you can one cycle it so as reference he has the same hp as primadon

No prov thorns does work there's a video on ONLY using prov thorns to beat ethiron. Unless it got removed from the game which I doubt

providence thorns work but i wouldnt recommend since it does almost no damage, every build's m1 damage changes so its mostly reliant on your build for the m1 value but mostly takes one or two ethiron stuns to kill him with a decent m1 pve build

the wiki is kinda undetailed about the light hook so i might as well ask here
when you enter floor 2, does it shorten the timer on your light hook, completely remove it or what?

If you beat chaser with 10m of lighthook u keep it until you lose it from timer or if you summon ethiron im pretty sure it gets removed

You spawn in to floor 2 with the same amount of light hook you had when you entered (if you sat on your ass in chaser until your light hook ended, you wouldn’t have a light hook when you went go in). When Ethiron spawns, all light hook time is removed

@@m0x355 no, if you have above 10 minutes on light hook and enter layer two, it gets reduced to 10 minutes. Your light hook is completely removed when you start the ethiron fight.

dont use prov thorns for ethiron, use astral or umbral knight

heroism is just a cheaper astral with ethiron since you should always be at 100% with the healthpacks, and you dont need the star projectile so its just the exact same
