Roles purpose in a nutshell:
- Nightguard: Starting Role. No pros, no cons. Default.
Special Perks: None.
- Janitor: Night 1 dollars grind is real. Good to speedrun Faster Walkspeed/Engineer
Special Perk: Complete tasks for extra money, Kitchen Access
- Engineer: You will most likelly use this 90% of the time.I mean it's perfect. Correct Trap placements might give you a free second chance (almost useless on fnaf 2 unfortunatelly)
Special Perks: Recieves 1 free Trap every game (recieve 2 traps with Extra Trap gamepass for 100 robux). Once placed on ground, if Animatronic steps in it - he will stun on ~5 seconds and reset his state, aka. Return to stage.
- Policeman: Portable Engineer with trap now being a stun gun. You are paying more, but getting something... well...
Special Perks: Recieve Taser every game. Taser only has 1 use (2 uses with Extra Taser Charge gamepass for ~100 robux). Taser acts like a remote trap - aim on animatronic and fire, stunning him for some time.
Conclusion: Save on Janitor and speedrun Faster Walkspeed

Policeman and Engineer in a nutshell: Right man hired for the right job
Reason: Brings weapons to a night shift
Nightguard: That one employee who is severely underpaid and doesn't even get a baton
Janitor: Probably should've done his tasks during day time instead of the god damn night

Enginner gives you 1 trap, you can buy more in the shop before starting a night for 100 credits, and you can also get one extra every game for 150 ROBUX.

Hi, how do you activate the janitor tasks? I have started now as a janitor and the only instruction on the to-do list is to get through the night shift. I cant interact with anything like the tables

I found out the answer, but I won't delete the comment, just in case anyone else is having this confusion.
Solution: you MUST be in a game with more than one person. If you're on your own as janitor, there will be no night guard to keep the animatronics out of the office, and so you will be a janitor acting as a night guard (doing cams and doors instead of cleaning work)
