I filmed this study with me vid at the start of January before I went back to uni for my exam period (which is why I still had my Christmas lights up 😂). Exam period is finally over & I'm about to start my 2nd semester! If you had exams I really hope they went well 🤍🤍
This video ended up being more just getting things done rather than studying, but I did do lots of reading for my essay! 🤣 at least I was productive...

Hi Immie Sophie! I’ve got an offer for the English language and linguistics course, and I was wondering if Southampton has a wide range of equipment or labs for linguistic research or is it mainly written work?

Aw congrats!
We don’t really do linguistic research at the undergrad level, it’s more about learning the subject. Research is more done at MA & Postgrad level. There are some modules that are more practical with software on computers though. Hope that helps :)
