I went to the hand build motorcycle show in Austin several years ago when they Revival Exhibited the Birdcage BMW ! what a gem of a bike! Love to go see Barber Museum some time! Thanks for the information and discussions with all these BMW enthusiasts...That R18 is very appealing ...may just go out and buy one!
Barber Vintage festival is my "do not miss" event each year. I'm glad you showcased a small piece of it and the incredible museum. I'm so excited for the BMW Brand to be building Heritage styled bikes again. Its why I fell in love with the brand (several airheads and one modern GS). Great series to wet my appetite for a new bike when released. Keep supporting small shows like Handbuilt, Momma Tried, One Moto, Garage Brewed and other grass roots community events. Thats how you extend the brand to new people and the next generation. Cheers
the behind the scenes was us begging the museum to stay open way past their closing time for us and then them kicking us out because we couldn't get enough. that place is magical.
If you like the vintage festival at Barber, I recommend you also go to AMA Vintage Days at Mid-Ohio in July. It’s a blast and the vendor area dwarfs the one at Barber. And the camping area is a trip!
I think Tommy captured perfectly the guys at BMW and the others we saw in this video when he said something like - These people are first of all bikers, and they love building bikes for bikers and that comes over with their enthusiasm. Fab museum in Alabama, another great video and a tiny bit more on the R18....more please.......thank you 😎✌🏻
I have wasted my life until I visit that Barber Museum. After visiting Motorrad Germany and Nettesheim of course. Then I can pass happily onto the old folk's home for fading BMW riders. Now if I can only get my hands on an R18...
Amazing museum! Full of nostalgia, and history for sure. hopefully the design team listens to the customer, and doesn't stray too far away from the concepts main focal points. Listen to the fans of BMW motorrad. Build a customer influenced bike, and it will sell.
I’ve seen a k1 on the road in paris last week it’s was amazing. Beautiful, ducati monster on the left at 3:12. One the best looking roadster for me. Good series
Man, if I wanted a custom seat, I wouldn’t buy it from stock, I’d let a good friend build it. Anyway, Magnum, thanks for keeping us close. Again and again and...
These episodes r addicting. Waiting 4 the next 1. As usual keeping us guessing lol. Was gonna buy a harley but I'm holding off for bmw. I owned a lot of cars but jus love my 5 series. A I have kept in almost perfect shape pushing 11 years. German engineering is something else man. Can't wait for this bike 2 come already. I heard u can pre order this, but doesn't give us a date when it will come out.
Yeh, give me one & I will turn it into the touring bike I have always wanted. Be bloody hard to beat my GS though ! Really BMW you need to release these.
The poor camera man was probably 'rubber-necking' while trying to film. His mind was on ALL of the other lovely motorcycles. It must have been an overwhelming distraction to be just filming for us viewers when he only wanted to jump along to see the next motorcycle, and then to the next and the next. I thought that he did a sterling job in difficult circumstances as his efforts are well worth the watching.

I've been enjoying the videos. The passion of the Motorrad folks is palpable. Like everyone I am super excited to see the REAL R/18
Hi Philip, we are happy to hear that!👌
can't agree with you more. These guys are the real deal and real people. Such a fun group of people!
I just binge-watched this series after a friend made me aware. Thank you!
Hello Bob, thank you for the nice feedback!
@@bmwmotorrad I may love this bike more than my r1200c
The best two things about living in Alabama: 12 months of riding and, the Barber. Great video!
that place is amazing!
I was there, great, a lot to see. However, there are at least three things ....... Talladega Superspeedway, too 😃😉
It is endearing and exciting to witness BMW Motarrad court us during this time of suspense. I can not wait to ride the R18!

Another good episode in this journey from concept full production, until next episode.....
Thanks for your feedback, Marstus! What's your highlight so far? 🤔
Thanks for following along!!
@@bmwmotorrad Each episode have highlights I like, I especially like the two BMW specialist taking the time to fine-tune that classic.
Stunning motorcycle! And the r18/2 wow ! Greetings from Chile!
Wow I just love it amazing video ...
Awesome videos looking forward to the bike.
I like watching your shows. Keep it up
Once again a very interesting episode
thank you!!!
We're glad you like it! 🙂🙌
@@bmwmotorrad I personally am not a very big fan of cruisers, but I am looking forward to riding the F900R
PS: Still excited though
Looks an amazing museum! And can't wait to see the concept R18 bike in production and on the road.
if you can ever make it to Alabama I STRONGLY suggest you make this a stop. Place is incredible
The Barber Museum is better than any motorcycle museum you’ve EVER seen. Make the trip and see it. Give yourself 4-5 hours to really see it.
I really enjoy your show, thanks for doing this.
The candy apple red version looks SWEET!
Cannot wait to see what “production” bikes come out of all this!
So glad BMW also leaves us the solo seat as an option!Would love to see the front fork of the first concept bike being available as well!
love the solo seat myself!! very excited thats coming to real life and not just a concept item
Just find it weird that it is an accessory and not the standard - what will be the standard then? A bench like from the r ninet?
I hope do make a version with a back seat, to cruise with my lady. God Bless !!!
;)

100% what they are doing, Les. They are listening

Wow, thank you Bobby for this positive feedback. We are very happy that you like our Bavarian Soulstory so much. Stay tuned. 🙌🤗
I'd be happy to test ride the R18 Concept Down Under to see if it would suit our Australian conditions. Drop me a line. :-)
thats a better display than whats in Munich

Love BMW. I only have 5. Where is the FUTURO with the 800cc turbo?
Outstanding! Thanks 👍

Ok, ship me one to the UK and I'll appraise for you...
When were you guys at Barber?
🍭🍬
Concept R18/2. Homeboy got pimped by the factory.
Edgar looks like Liam Neeson's older brother.
smart
Ok but do I have to dress like smurf too?
Really jumpy editing/camerawork - can't watch it - sorry

Stop teasing. Just make it happen already
to:BMW make tha dam service manaul available !!! not every customer wants a dealer to work on their motorcycle ! to hell with that !!
This current black wheel rim fad looks like a cheap Chinese Walmart bike. The rest of the R18 is stunning.
