There's a self diagnostic test you can do. On the stereo I think it's, hold down 'ok' button and spin the volume quickly clockwise, then follow the instructions. There is a video here somwhere on yt
@@abbzb2083 Doesn't work, and now it sometimes pulses, as in it wants to turn on, I believe the lcd has just simply broken and replacing it is a pain, I'd have to buy a completely change out the dash

When I turn on my car the lcd gauge cluster screen stays all black as in the screen turns on but doesn't display anything what might this be?

Lathario Stuart the top number is how many miles the car has and the bottom is how far you have gone on a trip
If you're talking about the single digits 1-7 its your gears
My g37 won't show what gear I'm in.. I have an 08 g37s manual
Its only the automatic that has that feature. With a manual its a little easier to know what gear you are in since you are the one doing the shifting.
