Just wish they added beards based on Assyrian and Babylonian statues. Or “European” being more similiar to Germanic-Celtic in West, or Greco-Slavic (maybe Hittite if they survived and either conquered or assimilated Minoans) in East (even down to worshipping their gods since Moses died and no Judeo Christian culture in that universe). Would have been interesting speculation fiction.
There are those comics (well, only one issue as of now) called The Mighty Assyrians. Artist is based out of Australia. I have my copy, but have not read it yet, but I think Ashur might be in it. I will read it and give my opinion soon.

Well, this was quite something. I remember learning of this character and just feeling crickets in my mind. Really not alot there, and yeah, pretty dang lazy.
Part of me feel that there should be tons of braided beards. Like similiar to Babylonian and Assyrians. That or afraid of being accused as rip offs of Chaos Dwarf depending how popular Warhammer Fantasy was.
The art WAS actually amazing, you're right! But yeah... the story was garbage. And most of the actual New Warriors had really bizarre powers. Other than Night Trasher, none of them really seemed interesting.

I have had ideas for an Assyrian comic book based around Assur. The thing I like about him is we only know so much about him.
