I'm also a C-5 complete quadriplegic but I was in rehab 37 years ago, when patients would spend four months in rehab. During that time, my primary nurse and I got to know each other well and got very close. I didn't marry her but we did become a couple after I was discharged from rehab and stayed together romantically for a couple of years. We remain platonic friends to this day.
You are both the nicest and most sincere young people i have ever seen. The kind and respectful behavior you show towards each other is why your relationship is so effortless. Charisma, you are an angel inside and out. Cole, you have a heart of gold for her, and she doesn't take your love for granted. I'm 59, and if i met someone like Cole, i would be happily married as well. I pray that you have an exciting life with many adventures throughout your marriage. You both deserve this much happiness. Charisma - you are an inspiration! You teach continually how to love fully and deeply. I am a widow since 2022. My husband and I were married for 54 years. We had a very successful marriage but ups and downs for sure. My deepest regret is that I did not use every moment to affirm him and to appreciate his amazing attributes. You are such a model of this deep and accepting love. I wish that I had had your example earlier. Cole is darn loveable so that is inspirational in itself. I met My boyfriend at a summer camp for people with disabilities we met in 2018 we were best friends for 4 years and we got together on October 23rd 2022 we've been together for almost 2 years
@@coleandcharisma you're welcome guys I really don't mind telling that story because it's a great story and it's our story and honestly I had no idea that I would ever fall in love with him it just happened 4 years later when I met him I just thought of him as a friend I just thought of him as a friend the whole time but all of a sudden I just fell for him actually what really happened was I asked him out like I asked him to be my boyfriend one time and he rejected me and then I waited and then I asked him again and he said yes after he stopped beating around the bush I actually had to push the answer out of him because he was beating around the bush he said that he always liked me and I asked him why he didn't ask me out I guess he was just nervous but we're together now and we're happy we've been in a long-distance relationship and trust me it's been hard but we fight through it and we go through it we get through it and get through it we go through obstacles and we defied beat the odds we continue to defy the odds because we refuse to give up on each other one time I felt like giving up and throwing in the towel I almost broke up with him but I realized that I couldn't because he's the love of my life is everything I've been searching for and everything I ever wanted and more he's the man of my dreams and the love of my life and if I didn't have him I would be alone for the rest of my life because I would never be able to love another and I would be kicking myself for letting him go and I would be heartbroken and shattered he changed my life he made me a happier person he's so happy so positive so full of life and so loving he makes me want to be a better person he pushes me to be a better person everyday he's so patient with me I don't think he ever gets mad at me haha 😂 Not only has he made me a happier person he's also made me a better person he pushes me to be better but he does it with love and tenderness he doesn't verbally abuse me he doesn't put me down he speaks to me with love he brings meaning in my life before in my life was meaningless and I feel like my life was pointless I felt nothing nothing but sadness and hurt and I was always in the darkness I've been through so much in my life that has caused me to be in a depressed state but God sent me a beautiful wonderful man who gives me peace and love
