Huge thanks for taking the time to explain how to handle the twist. Yours was the only explanation I could find and in the absence of a book or anyone to ask I thought might have to give up on it.

Would love to see a video using swivels. I tried it by tying each warp thread to a swivel at both ends to keep a continuous warp....it was a pain but did work. Any suggestions on handling twist is appreciated!

Thank you very much. I've watched your previous video, Tablet Weaving Lesson #1, several times and it was a great help to me. I had some luck working with a Kivrim pattern and ran into this exact problem. I was able to untangle everything once, but it was very arduous. The second time everything twisted on me I just ended my weave. I've been trying to find advice on this, especially as a video, and this is the best I've found. I look forward to future videos from you.

Thank you very much for your kind words Cdog :D As I say in the description, I made this video in response to a question posed to me by a viewer, so if there's anything else you're unsure of, don't be afraid to ask. It may take me a while to get round to answering, but I generally tend to. I've not woven Kivrim myself, but it looks familiar to some I have woven, in that it looks like some of the cards are continually turning forwards, while some periodically turn backwards. A common solution for patterns like this is to reverse the entire pattern after a certain number of pattern units, and the key to doing that well is simply in deciding where to place your reverse, so it doesn't look odd

***** That's what I was thinking based off of your video. I will try loading up my cards again soon and see what it looks like reversing at a few points in the pattern.

in the book Tablet Weaving by Candance Croccett on page 136 it is described as follows: at the left end of the warp thread sits a weaver with weaving tablets and a shuttle and at the right end of the warp there is also a weaver with weaving tablets and a shuttle, both weavers make a ribbon fabric and beibe Ribbon fabrics meet in the middle, the thread twists that are always turned forward in the left weaver, the thread twists are also always turned forward by the right weaver and the twists simply dissolve ------- I have been weaving since 2005 I have been using the Thread ends away from me on my bookshelf attached a SPRO SWIVELS Black Barrel Swivelswith Safety Snap for each weaving tablet, so I can always untwist the thread with every weaving tablet.

I need a video using swivels. Could you please add one? I will start a big project for a table cloth weaving. It is containing both tablet weaving and inkle weaving. The pattern including 206 columns chart. So that I need to solve all my weaving problems in the beginning for not to face any problems when weaving. thanks in advance....
