I am so angry at this community. It is honestly making me not want to be a part of it any more. I have never encountered so many rude and inconsiderate people in one place before. Alfie, Zoe, Gabby and all youtubers make FREE content for our enjoyment. They don't have to make these videos for us. I think they are truly amazing people for giving away so much of their life on the internet. I could never do it and I certainly don't think you could either. So I seriously suggest to all those that feel a certain need to leave vile and disrespectful comments to take a step away from your keyboard and take a long hard look in the mirror and consider how you would feel if you were being hated on by millions of people on a daily basis. Some people on these videos make me sick. If you have nothing nice to say, don't say it and leave these hardworking, considerate, content makers alone to get on with their lives.

Chloe Goodman I definitely agree with you guys, I hope Alfie reads this because the people saying bad things about him obviously have nothing better to do with their lives than to criticize and give hate which I think is sad and disgusting. I feel like I'm watching a 4D episode of the sims when I watch your vlogs, moving house, buying dogs and tropical fish, your relationship growing with Zoe 😂😂 who needs a sims episode on your gaming channel when we have a real life version ☺️ loved this video as I do every single vlog you and Zoe put up. Can I recommend getting some puppy mats? They are like nappies except for the fact they are like giant ones you put on the floor. I'm pretty sure that they saved my parents life when we got our puppy.
You can tell how excited they are to get this dog! Wish you guys would have considered adopting one from an animal shelter, though. Could have saved a life.

It really upsets me to read these horrible comments about such lovely people.They have quite clearly took time to think whether getting a dog is right for them and the dog they are not silly.All the horrible comments about their eating habits are ridiculous for one it has nothing to do with anyone else what they eat and when and having a busy lifestyle makes it harder for them to cook full meals. The guinea pigs are well looked after and quite clearly very loved animals they are treated like children. All these youtubers are putting videos online for our entertainment and if they do not entertain you why would you watch them? You should really think before putting horrible comments on these videos and quite understandably it will make them less likely to post videos and will ruin it for the people who enjoy their videos and you also need to think about their feeling how would you feel if someone insinuated you would not look after pets that is such a horrible accusation. As they say over and over we only see snipets of their days we don't actually know what they do all the time so give them some respect and keep your horrible comments to yourself.

I am not having an argument on Alfie's channel it is totally disrespectful but I really think you should stop and think before putting horrible comments on their videos it may not affect you but it will affect them and that is not your place to say what they should do!!!
When we are talking about the welfare of an animal I think it is important these points are raised - I'm not being horrible I'm just speaking the truth. Why should everything Alfie and Zoe do automatically be above criticism?
My puppy was the 'runt of the litter' and she's the most loving attentive puppy and there's never been anything wrong with her at all, she's not shy or nervous in anyway, she's just a little bit smaller than average. ♡
With the training clicker, every time they do something good, you click the clicker and then give them a treat, they will then learn to start doing those things more often x hope i helped
EXACTLY what I was thinking. I have trained many dogs and I HATE those retractable leads. I also hate the pee pads because they teach the dogs to go in the house! Such silly products.
100% agreed retractable leashes are not a good idea. they can be dangerous because there's just so much length to get caught around things and there's tension in it which could hurt you (think of how a rubber band snaps back) and a shorter leash gives you much better control. i wanna say my dog's leash is 6 feet and it's plenty long :)

TheSmashedMelons I'm sorry that we offended you. It never hurts to learn more and receive more advice from people with experience. In just about every vlog, Alfie asks us about what we think our what our opinion is on something, so I actually think he likes the advice. No one is trying to be offensive and no one thinks he isn't ready for a dog. Again, it never hurts to learn. How are we hurting anything or anyone by stating what we know from our own experience? I just don't know why people make such rude comments over something so harmless. Being nice goes a long way.
I love how excited you are for your dog and you've already named it, if I was you I would buy these puppy pad things for your dog to wee on while your training if you put them near to the door to go outside we used them for my dog and they seemed to work well
I found my pug picked up toilet training on the puppy pads really quickly :-) They are fab, especially if you spray extra 'puppy training spray' on the pad which makes them want to go on it. works a treat! x
Please disable the comments alfie because people are getting ridiculous and seriously need to calm down and enjoy the videos. It's making me not want to be a part of this 'fandom' when people pick out the most silly things they they do or say and are like 'why did he flick Zoe's hair' or 'OMG they have a bath together'. Like seriously guys they are both adults with private lives just like the rest of us. They can film what they want and upload what they want, it's their channel not ours and we shouldn't be writing nasty comment about them. OMG! Watching you all excited buying everything for your pug is the cutest thing ever! Reminds me of when I was getting stuff to watch over my dad's friends chihuahua's! You will absolutely love Nala! You seriously won't stop smiling at everything she does, it will bring you so much joy!! The look on their faces when you get back from work/school is the best thing ever! I love and miss them so much! I looked took care of them for almost 3 years, so I miss then like crazy, unlike you and zoe who will have Nala as yours, LOVE and care for her as much as you can! when you pick Nala up make sure you bring like a little stuffed animal and rub it all over her mom and let the puppies play with it so that way Nala has something on the first couple of nights that smells like her mom!
Yeah, you can give the breeder a blanket a few days ahead of time for the mom to lay on and then bring it home when you pick Nala up. Breeders are usually super nice about that stuff, at least in the United States.
The memory foam mattress is for old dogs who struggle with bad joints to help them not just for a silly reasons. My old Labrador has one to sooth his joints xx
Let me explain the clicker for you. You start by associating the clicker with a treat: click it and then hand her a treat. Then once she understands that you move on and ask her to do something; for example, sit. If she sits you click it then giving her a treat. The clicker acts as a bridging stimulus between the time she correctly does the action and you giving her the treat. :)

You can also use a word such as "good" or "yes" instead of the clicker. If you use words, its nice because most people probably don't carry a clicker with them at all times.
Alfie - Dog Tip Put a ticking clock next to Nala's cage of a night time, closest to her bed as possible so she can hear it. It will help her settle as she will think its her mummy's heart beat. Someone told me this a few days after getting my puppy as she wasn't settling of a night time and this worked so good she slept all night from then on.x

my dog always wants to play when we're watching tv or studying, so she'll run around you squeaking her toy gosh it's so annoying i still love her though
For some tips, I have had a puppy before and use old newspapers and lay them out then get puppy training pads (really inexpensive) and lay them on top. The dog will learn that this is to do the toilet on if they need. Also, get ALOT OF CHEWY OR HARD TOYS. This will make the dog chew those instead of the furniture as they are teething and finally if Nala is being bad (distructive, noisy, naughty) get an empty small plastic bottle and fill it with stones, shake it a few times infront of the dog very hard to make a loud noise. This wont hurt the dog but give it a fright and stop what it is doing. If not just repeat or use a water gun and spray it a few times (dont soak lol) this isnt animal abuse dont worry. I got taught this and have done this with my pooch. X
There is also a trick if your dog barks a lot, than you'll just have to (carefully !) throw some keys to his/her feet. After a while you'll just have to shake them and she/he will stop barking :)
I'm not sure about the water. My dog is afraid of like getting in water like lakes and pools and stuff. It's a chore to wash him and i think using Easter as punishment will make him scared of it/make him hate it and associate it with getting in trouble.
Regarding barking, consistently say no from the first bark. Feel free to take them a little the neck, even if they are cute and small. Is that now they are trying to push the limits, and it is from day one you have to put them. I used that rule to say no angry and pointing at them with angry eyes. If I hear a yelp to from them, I am soon to take just a little hold of the neck. I hate to take them properly, so I just hold the neck. So when she realizes most often that if she barks once it is generally not good. That way I'm not dependent on any subject, the dogs hear the tone of my voice. The darker I am the voice, the more angry do they read me as being.
I got so scared like in the beginning when u were in car I was like NO ALFIE KEEP YOUR EYES ON THE ROAD UR GOING TO CRASH!!!!!!! Because you know, America. Then I remembered you're in England and Zoe was the one driving😂😂😂😂
My dog is a runt and one of his siblings lives near us and my dog is like 100x cuter, not even being biased, he's also alot healthier and has a nicer coat, don't always believe that the runt is a bad choice!
I totally agree! My pup who is nearly 2 was the runt of the litter and now shes got such a great coat and shes very healthy but she is smaller than the others which we dont mind

How can these two lovely people get so many negative comments? Zoe gives money to charity..people complain it's not enough. They're getting a dog that needs a home, regardless of it's breed, all dogs need a home. It's their life, they supply us with so much happiness, let's repay that by positive and happy comments!
Aww I'm so excited for your pug. I remember when I got my first dog about 6 months ago and I've wanted one for my whole life. I have a few tips for you and your dog :) I suggest buying her a bigger bed, I know she is incredibly small but she will grow extremely fast, my dog is about triple he size she was when we bought her and she is still fairly small, she is a mixture schnauzer. Dogs also like to stretch out sometimes and have more room. Also try to buy a vets rather than a collar as it chokes small dogs when you walk them, also try to get a vest with adjustable straps so it will fit her perfectly. At one point, you were looking at those red things that you still treats in, there was a large red thing next to it that you would assume is for bigger dogs, don't be fooled, I strongly suggest you buy this. It is basically a container with a heavy base. You unscrew the lid, out in your dogs breakfast and dinner then screw the lid back on, they then have to push it around and the treats fall off, it occupies my dog for about 20 minutes and is great toy for them hey will absolutely love. It's one of the best things I've ever bought. Remember to begin training her early and make sure when she is fully vaccinated to get her to meet some mature trained dogs, this will get her used to other dogs and if the other dog is matur and trained she will not think that other dogs are a threat or generally bad. I suggest going to some sort of puppy school, I went to a puppy training school which was about 1.5 hour lessons every week for about 5 weeks. They tell you a lot of inprotant information about training your dog. This is really important that you train hem went they are young. Anyway. This is just what I can suggest, I could go on forever about dogs :) im so excited to see her and I wish you and Zoe the best of luck her her, I'm sure he'll make an adorable addition to your home :D

With that little tunnel thing which you said you put the treats in, you can put peanut butter in at bedtime because it has a strong scent, is healthy for the puppy and keeps them for crying at night time!! The first few days, Nala will cry and howl in her bed/cage so dont go down to her!! You are giving it which she wants you to do and she will think you will come down every night!! Make her tired when you collect her for the first few days and play A LOT so she can sleep more at night!! Hope this helps Alfie! I got my puppy nearly a year ago and its so good!

However much they love the animal, the lifestyle they lead at the moment is not suited to a puppy. They are often travelling and a puppy needs constant attention and routine, which Alfie and Zoe can't give. I'm not saying they are horrible people and I can totally understand getting carried away with the excitement of a new dog but it doesn't seem like they've really thought this through - they're going on holiday to New York soon! Dogs are a huge commitment.
So are you trying to say everyone with a dog can't go on holiday ever again? That's ridiculous; I've always had pets, and I've always gone on holiday and traveled but I always make sure there is someone suitable that my animals are comfortable with to look after then while I'm away. and I'm sure they will do the same, there is absolutely no reason why anyone should be saying that their lifestyle isn't suited to an animal; there isn't just one way of doing things in life; animals can remain perfectly happy and comfortable In their routine if an owner chooses or needs to go away on business or for a holiday
No but it's irresponsible to get a dog just before you go on holiday when it is still settling in! Plus Zoe and Alfie travel a lot more than normal people - someone going on holiday once a year and putting their dog in a kennel is fine, but several holidays a year, especially when they have just got the dog, is not. Plus even when they are at home they aren't prepared or inclined to spend so much time on a dog - they can't even cook their own meals or keep a flat clean, so how will they spend hours walking, training and cleaning a dog?

They clearly would have put in thought to the travelling aspect and he even said that when they go away his parents would look after Nala which is also why they were getting the brother. My uncle goes away on business trips overseas nearly every month for weeks at a time and my family look after his dog who is the sweetest thing ever. We are like her second family and this is like her second home and she is very well behaved and very well looked after on both sides. It's also like Zoe with her guinea pigs. She wanted them for ages but she didn't get them until she moved to her own place so she wouldn't be leaving them for days at a time when she travelled to stay with Alfie. If you have been watching for a while you would know that they didn't just decide to one day get a dog or to get guinea pigs. They clearly have put thought into it so don't criticise them until you pay attention and know the facts. Not saying i know them or anything and i know your free to your opinion but just think before you speak. Not trying to hate but just also trying to state my opinion :)
My dog Mr. Bean, was the runt of the litter and he was the healthiest happiest puppy. Its only sometimes that the runts arent as healthy because they can have deformities or growth problem because they were too squished in the womb. But not all of them are like that. :) I hope you get that little female puppy you saw today

Harnesses are generally used to control the dog while walking, preventing excess pulling and effort to keep it from running. Not all harnesses are "comfy," I highly doubt they are, considering it's snuggly wrapped around and tends to rub against their body.
Just keep in mind that they grow pretty quickly! I get that you need to get her stuff that will fit when you get her, but just remember that when they are puppies they grow really quickly..so you don't focus too much on how small she is and buy a ton of things that just will fit her for a short period of time! :) this is just an advice that comes from experience, I am NOT trying to tell you what to do, it's just a little tip cause I've been where you guys are and you sort of forget that they will start to grow! :) I'm so excited for you guys, I can't even tell how long I've been watching you wanting a pug! :D

If you get a pug you should be prepared to go to the Vet a lot! Unfortunately it is a breed that is overbred and not very healthy :( I hate what people do to animals :( But I wish you all the best with the little one!
Please can you do an upstairs tour and before everyone says "He Said that's not his thing or style" but they said we would see the house in the daily Vlogs but we never see upstairs we only sometimes see either Alfie or Zoë coming down the stairs. So please Alfie Can you do an upstairs tour ! Like if you agree 👍
They probably don't want to show it yet in vlogs because they are not done unpacking. They will probably vlog upstairs when its all done. Just give them a little time, it takes time to unpack. (: Plus, like you said, they said they won't do a house tour. So just have to be patient.
I suggest u get her a harness instead of a collar for multiple reasons Caz 1. My puppy Caspar broke is collar Caz he pulled so much so we needed up chasing him for ages 2. A collar strangles them because they aren't trained to not pull 3. With a harness it won't strangle them Caz it's going round there belly aswell and also there two bits that clip together so if one breaks you have time to catch them before it's to late! I was watching this while my dog was laying down on the floor by me and I had no headphones in so everytime Alfie or Zoe squeaked the chew toys, my dog jumped up and looked in my face like he was accusing me of hiding a toy from him😂😂😂

I know this is going to sound irrational, unfair, and that I'm projecting a bit out of jealousy, but it chaps my ass a bit when Alfie acts like getting out of bed in the morning is a great feat, because he didn't sleep until 2pm. I can't celebrate in that because almost everyone who watches his videos goes to work full time, or school full time or both like me and have no time to sleep. I KNOW he works a lot, but he is so privileged, and its just something I think about from time to time that kind of stings.
He has to change his habits soon, when there is a puppy in the house you have to get up at 5/ half past 5 to get him outside, and after that puppies usually won't sleep anymore so you need to stay awake to watch them.
For years before I had kids and worked at bar I used to be whacked out, hated mornings that why I worked a night job. I know that from a teenager and young adult I couldn't deal with mornings! Older now with kids (they do help) my body prefers to wake up early. Even when I would try desperately to change my routine, I just wouldn't go to sleep early no matter what time I woke up in the morning. There are studies to say that younger adults and teenagers should go to bed later and wake up later in the day, also saying that older teenagers should start school at 11am for example and finish later. Just another way to look at it.
Ok, so this is going to be quite long but i just want to talk about HATE!! People watch videos then criticise everything they see i just cant believe how disrespectful some people are!! On one of Alfie's videos somebody was saying that Alfie didn't deserve a rolex and blah blah blah and i literally felt like giving them a slap!! All youtubers big or small put time into their videos so they can achieve the best!! And hate is the reason Zoe was less active. Basically if you dont have anything nice to say dont say anything at all!! X
Zoe and Alfie are free to do what they want - if Alfie wants to buy a Rolex that's fine. But buying a dog is different as it is not just another accessory but a living being. I don't think Zoe and Alfie realise what a commitment this is. You can tell they haven't done a lot of research on dog training or looking after a dog as they didn't even know what a clicker is. They don't have the time or inclination to give a puppy the attention and routine it needs, and it is unfair on the poor innocent animal.
mcgravy not necessarily true. There's many ways of training dogs without using a clicker. I for one have never heard of one and have still managed to train my dog in a suitable way. They've told us about them getting a Pug in August and I'm sure they considered it Way before hand. They're also waiting until the end of this month so they have their busy RUclips months out of the way :) x

Alfie and Zoe's must obviously trust us and that's why they have shown this video and they are definitely more than capable to look after a dog. The "training clicker" is where your dog has a collar on that was made for that clicker thing and if he runs too far you can press that button and it will vibrate but not shock the dog. So it's basically tricking them and teaching them to stay close and not run away. I think 👌
No, that's not what a clicker is. Dogs are either trained to like or dislike the sound, so when they hear the sound, they either know they're being praised or scolded.
Please adopt don't buy! I know youve already chosen Nala, but anyone watching this video and reading this, there are some of the most loving dogs ever, with so much love to give at animal shelters all over the world.
***** You can find plenty of baby animals at animal shelters. People won't spay their animals so when/if they get pregnant, they'll put up the litter for adoption.
Pugs don't get along with small animals like Hamsters, Guinea pigs.. Rabbits, Ferrites.. I don't want to worry you guys but it's a little warning just in case! I'm sure Nala is too sweet for that❤️
Random tip I think they shouldn't allow Nala a squeaky toy as if she ever did hurt the guinea pigs they may squeak and she may not realise it's bad and she's hurting them (I'm not explaining this well) we didn't allow my dogs any squeaky toys as we have rabbits and just wanted to try and make sure the dogs understood the squeak sound was bad.....it's just a tip and my opinion so if they want that's fine but I think they shouldn't.

A tip; when nala does a wee/poo, even if she is mid way through it, lift her outside. It teaches them to go toilet in the garden rather than the house quicker xxx
Also, buy lots of different textures of toys, it gets them to be familiar with different enviroments. I would say just buy a pug book because it gives you lots of tips x
There is a lot of responsibility with a dog. I've had dogs since I was about 7 and there is so much to do. You need insurance (DEFINITELY this is a must because if your dog broke its leg it can be up to £2000 in vet fees if you don't have insurance) you need to train them to use the toilet outside (dog floor nappys) bowls,food,leads plus you need to make sure you stay with them a lot as they need SO much attention

I am so angry at this community. It is honestly making me not want to be a part of it any more. I have never encountered so many rude and inconsiderate people in one place before. Alfie, Zoe, Gabby and all youtubers make FREE content for our enjoyment. They don't have to make these videos for us. I think they are truly amazing people for giving away so much of their life on the internet. I could never do it and I certainly don't think you could either. So I seriously suggest to all those that feel a certain need to leave vile and disrespectful comments to take a step away from your keyboard and take a long hard look in the mirror and consider how you would feel if you were being hated on by millions of people on a daily basis. Some people on these videos make me sick. If you have nothing nice to say, don't say it and leave these hardworking, considerate, content makers alone to get on with their lives.

It really upsets me to read these horrible comments about such lovely people.They have quite clearly took time to think whether getting a dog is right for them and the dog they are not silly.All the horrible comments about their eating habits are ridiculous for one it has nothing to do with anyone else what they eat and when and having a busy lifestyle makes it harder for them to cook full meals. The guinea pigs are well looked after and quite clearly very loved animals they are treated like children. All these youtubers are putting videos online for our entertainment and if they do not entertain you why would you watch them? You should really think before putting horrible comments on these videos and quite understandably it will make them less likely to post videos and will ruin it for the people who enjoy their videos and you also need to think about their feeling how would you feel if someone insinuated you would not look after pets that is such a horrible accusation. As they say over and over we only see snipets of their days we don't actually know what they do all the time so give them some respect and keep your horrible comments to yourself.

My puppy was the 'runt of the litter' and she's the most loving attentive puppy and there's never been anything wrong with her at all, she's not shy or nervous in anyway, she's just a little bit smaller than average. ♡

EXACTLY what I was thinking. I have trained many dogs and I HATE those retractable leads. I also hate the pee pads because they teach the dogs to go in the house! Such silly products.
100% agreed retractable leashes are not a good idea. they can be dangerous because there's just so much length to get caught around things and there's tension in it which could hurt you (think of how a rubber band snaps back) and a shorter leash gives you much better control. i wanna say my dog's leash is 6 feet and it's plenty long :)

In just about every vlog, Alfie asks us about what we think our what our opinion is on something, so I actually think he likes the advice. No one is trying to be offensive and no one thinks he isn't ready for a dog. Again, it never hurts to learn. How are we hurting anything or anyone by stating what we know from our own experience? I just don't know why people make such rude comments over something so harmless. Being nice goes a long way.

I found my pug picked up toilet training on the puppy pads really quickly :-) They are fab, especially if you spray extra 'puppy training spray' on the pad which makes them want to go on it. works a treat! x

when you pick Nala up make sure you bring like a little stuffed animal and rub it all over her mom and let the puppies play with it so that way Nala has something on the first couple of nights that smells like her mom!

Yeah, you can give the breeder a blanket a few days ahead of time for the mom to lay on and then bring it home when you pick Nala up. Breeders are usually super nice about that stuff, at least in the United States.
The memory foam mattress is for old dogs who struggle with bad joints to help them not just for a silly reasons. My old Labrador has one to sooth his joints xx

Put a ticking clock next to Nala's cage of a night time, closest to her bed as possible so she can hear it. It will help her settle as she will think its her mummy's heart beat. Someone told me this a few days after getting my puppy as she wasn't settling of a night time and this worked so good she slept all night from then on.x

I love watching the old vlogs when they first got Nala it's the cutest thing
For some tips, I have had a puppy before and use old newspapers and lay them out then get puppy training pads (really inexpensive) and lay them on top. The dog will learn that this is to do the toilet on if they need. Also, get ALOT OF CHEWY OR HARD TOYS. This will make the dog chew those instead of the furniture as they are teething and finally if Nala is being bad (distructive, noisy, naughty) get an empty small plastic bottle and fill it with stones, shake it a few times infront of the dog very hard to make a loud noise. This wont hurt the dog but give it a fright and stop what it is doing. If not just repeat or use a water gun and spray it a few times (dont soak lol) this isnt animal abuse dont worry. I got taught this and have done this with my pooch. X
There is also a trick if your dog barks a lot, than you'll just have to (carefully !) throw some keys to his/her feet. After a while you'll just have to shake them and she/he will stop barking :)
I'm not sure about the water. My dog is afraid of like getting in water like lakes and pools and stuff. It's a chore to wash him and i think using Easter as punishment will make him scared of it/make him hate it and associate it with getting in trouble.
Regarding barking, consistently say no from the first bark. Feel free to take them a little the neck, even if they are cute and small. Is that now they are trying to push the limits, and it is from day one you have to put them. I used that rule to say no angry and pointing at them with angry eyes. If I hear a yelp to from them, I am soon to take just a little hold of the neck. I hate to take them properly, so I just hold the neck. So when she realizes most often that if she barks once it is generally not good. That way I'm not dependent on any subject, the dogs hear the tone of my voice. The darker I am the voice, the more angry do they read me as being.
I got so scared like in the beginning when u were in car I was like NO ALFIE KEEP YOUR EYES ON THE ROAD UR GOING TO CRASH!!!!!!! Because you know, America. Then I remembered you're in England and Zoe was the one driving😂😂😂😂
My dog is a runt and one of his siblings lives near us and my dog is like 100x cuter, not even being biased, he's also alot healthier and has a nicer coat, don't always believe that the runt is a bad choice!

They're getting a dog that needs a home, regardless of it's breed, all dogs need a home. It's their life, they supply us with so much happiness, let's repay that by positive and happy comments!
Aww I'm so excited for your pug. I remember when I got my first dog about 6 months ago and I've wanted one for my whole life. I have a few tips for you and your dog :)
I suggest buying her a bigger bed, I know she is incredibly small but she will grow extremely fast, my dog is about triple he size she was when we bought her and she is still fairly small, she is a mixture schnauzer. Dogs also like to stretch out sometimes and have more room.
Also try to buy a vets rather than a collar as it chokes small dogs when you walk them, also try to get a vest with adjustable straps so it will fit her perfectly.
At one point, you were looking at those red things that you still treats in, there was a large red thing next to it that you would assume is for bigger dogs, don't be fooled, I strongly suggest you buy this. It is basically a container with a heavy base. You unscrew the lid, out in your dogs breakfast and dinner then screw the lid back on, they then have to push it around and the treats fall off, it occupies my dog for about 20 minutes and is great toy for them hey will absolutely love. It's one of the best things I've ever bought.
Remember to begin training her early and make sure when she is fully vaccinated to get her to meet some mature trained dogs, this will get her used to other dogs and if the other dog is matur and trained she will not think that other dogs are a threat or generally bad.
I suggest going to some sort of puppy school, I went to a puppy training school which was about 1.5 hour lessons every week for about 5 weeks. They tell you a lot of inprotant information about training your dog. This is really important that you train hem went they are young.
Anyway. This is just what I can suggest, I could go on forever about dogs :) im so excited to see her and I wish you and Zoe the best of luck her her, I'm sure he'll make an adorable addition to your home :D

With that little tunnel thing which you said you put the treats in, you can put peanut butter in at bedtime because it has a strong scent, is healthy for the puppy and keeps them for crying at night time!!
The first few days, Nala will cry and howl in her bed/cage so dont go down to her!! You are giving it which she wants you to do and she will think you will come down every night!! Make her tired when you collect her for the first few days and play A LOT so she can sleep more at night!!

However much they love the animal, the lifestyle they lead at the moment is not suited to a puppy. They are often travelling and a puppy needs constant attention and routine, which Alfie and Zoe can't give. I'm not saying they are horrible people and I can totally understand getting carried away with the excitement of a new dog but it doesn't seem like they've really thought this through - they're going on holiday to New York soon! Dogs are a huge commitment.
So are you trying to say everyone with a dog can't go on holiday ever again? That's ridiculous; I've always had pets, and I've always gone on holiday and traveled but I always make sure there is someone suitable that my animals are comfortable with to look after then while I'm away. and I'm sure they will do the same, there is absolutely no reason why anyone should be saying that their lifestyle isn't suited to an animal; there isn't just one way of doing things in life; animals can remain perfectly happy and comfortable In their routine if an owner chooses or needs to go away on business or for a holiday
No but it's irresponsible to get a dog just before you go on holiday when it is still settling in! Plus Zoe and Alfie travel a lot more than normal people - someone going on holiday once a year and putting their dog in a kennel is fine, but several holidays a year, especially when they have just got the dog, is not. Plus even when they are at home they aren't prepared or inclined to spend so much time on a dog - they can't even cook their own meals or keep a flat clean, so how will they spend hours walking, training and cleaning a dog?

mcgravy like cherrycake505 said, Alfie's parents are also getting a dog who will be Nala's brother and they have clearly thought about this because if you would have been watching Alfie's vlogs for a while you would know that they have been planning and wanting to get a pug for ages. They clearly would have put in thought to the travelling aspect and he even said that when they go away his parents would look after Nala which is also why they were getting the brother. My uncle goes away on business trips overseas nearly every month for weeks at a time and my family look after his dog who is the sweetest thing ever. We are like her second family and this is like her second home and she is very well behaved and very well looked after on both sides. It's also like Zoe with her guinea pigs. She wanted them for ages but she didn't get them until she moved to her own place so she wouldn't be leaving them for days at a time when she travelled to stay with Alfie. If you have been watching for a while you would know that they didn't just decide to one day get a dog or to get guinea pigs. They clearly have put thought into it so don't criticise them until you pay attention and know the facts. Not saying i know them or anything and i know your free to your opinion but just think before you speak. Not trying to hate but just also trying to state my opinion :)
My dog Mr. Bean, was the runt of the litter and he was the healthiest happiest puppy. Its only sometimes that the runts arent as healthy because they can have deformities or growth problem because they were too squished in the womb. But not all of them are like that. :) I hope you get that little female puppy you saw today

Some harnesses hurt pugs so I think he should be careful with what type of collar he gets
Harnesses are generally used to control the dog while walking, preventing excess pulling and effort to keep it from running. Not all harnesses are "comfy," I highly doubt they are, considering it's snuggly wrapped around and tends to rub against their body.
To be honest harnesses are the best because pugs don't have much of a neck and because it's more comfy I know thus because I own two pugs
Harness are good but my dog is a french bulldog cross pug and she backed away from a car and got out of it

Just keep in mind that they grow pretty quickly! I get that you need to get her stuff that will fit when you get her, but just remember that when they are puppies they grow really quickly..so you don't focus too much on how small she is and buy a ton of things that just will fit her for a short period of time! :) this is just an advice that comes from experience, I am NOT trying to tell you what to do, it's just a little tip cause I've been where you guys are and you sort of forget that they will start to grow! :) I'm so excited for you guys, I can't even tell how long I've been watching you wanting a pug! :D
Both my dogs are runts, both healthy well behaved girls, love them to pieces, one is 9 and the other is 3 and both are as good as gold:)

If you get a pug you should be prepared to go to the Vet a lot! Unfortunately it is a breed that is overbred and not very healthy :( I hate what people do to animals :(

Please can you do an upstairs tour and before everyone says "He Said that's not his thing or style" but they said we would see the house in the daily Vlogs but we never see upstairs we only sometimes see either Alfie or Zoë coming down the stairs.

They probably don't want to show it yet in vlogs because they are not done unpacking. They will probably vlog upstairs when its all done. Just give them a little time, it takes time to unpack. (: Plus, like you said, they said they won't do a house tour. So just have to be patient.
Why do you want to see the inside of their house? I never understood why do subscribers ask for house tours and such. Seems a bit weird to me.
I suggest u get her a harness instead of a collar for multiple reasons Caz 1. My puppy Caspar broke is collar Caz he pulled so much so we needed up chasing him for ages 2. A collar strangles them because they aren't trained to not pull 3. With a harness it won't strangle them Caz it's going round there belly aswell and also there two bits that clip together so if one breaks you have time to catch them before it's to late! I know this is going to sound irrational, unfair, and that I'm projecting a bit out of jealousy, but it chaps my ass a bit when Alfie acts like getting out of bed in the morning is a great feat, because he didn't sleep until 2pm. I can't celebrate in that because almost everyone who watches his videos goes to work full time, or school full time or both like me and have no time to sleep. I KNOW he works a lot, but he is so privileged, and its just something I think about from time to time that kind of stings.
He has to change his habits soon, when there is a puppy in the house you have to get up at 5/ half past 5 to get him outside, and after that puppies usually won't sleep anymore so you need to stay awake to watch them.
For years before I had kids and worked at bar I used to be whacked out, hated mornings that why I worked a night job.
I know that from a teenager and young adult I couldn't deal with mornings! Older now with kids (they do help) my body prefers to wake up early.
Even when I would try desperately to change my routine, I just wouldn't go to sleep early no matter what time I woke up in the morning.
There are studies to say that younger adults and teenagers should go to bed later and wake up later in the day, also saying that older teenagers should start school at 11am for example and finish later.
Just another way to look at it.

Ok, so this is going to be quite long but i just want to talk about HATE!! People watch videos then criticise everything they see i just cant believe how disrespectful some people are!! On one of Alfie's videos somebody was saying that Alfie didn't deserve a rolex and blah blah blah and i literally felt like giving them a slap!! All youtubers big or small put time into their videos so they can achieve the best!! And hate is the reason Zoe was less active. Basically if you dont have anything nice to say dont say anything at all!! X
Zoe and Alfie are free to do what they want - if Alfie wants to buy a Rolex that's fine. But buying a dog is different as it is not just another accessory but a living being. I don't think Zoe and Alfie realise what a commitment this is. You can tell they haven't done a lot of research on dog training or looking after a dog as they didn't even know what a clicker is. They don't have the time or inclination to give a puppy the attention and routine it needs, and it is unfair on the poor innocent animal.
mcgravy not necessarily true. There's many ways of training dogs without using a clicker. I for one have never heard of one and have still managed to train my dog in a suitable way. They've told us about them getting a Pug in August and I'm sure they considered it Way before hand. They're also waiting until the end of this month so they have their busy RUclips months out of the way :) x

Please, please, look yourself in the mirror and ask yourself whether what you just said was relevant. They are excited on getting a pug because Alfie has wanted one for ages so please let them stay excited. If this was depressing because of your opinion on animals then stop watching it. this isn't even hate though, calm down. it's a fact that they travel way too often to provide a stable environment for a pet. dogs and cats get separation anxiety and depression when their owners go away. *will someone please think of the animals?* literally this has nothing to do with them as human beings.
Did you even read what I put?! It is there life so they make there own decisions! Alfie and Zoe's must obviously trust us and that's why they have shown this video and they are definitely more than capable to look after a dog. Haven't you noticed that Zoe and Alfie haven't actually travelled together recently and that Alfie did say that himself and Zoe Were capable of looking after a dog!?
The "training clicker" is where your dog has a collar on that was made for that clicker thing and if he runs too far you can press that button and it will vibrate but not shock the dog. So it's basically tricking them and teaching them to stay close and not run away. I think 👌

No, that's not what a clicker is. Dogs are either trained to like or dislike the sound, so when they hear the sound, they either know they're being praised or scolded.
Please adopt don't buy! I know youve already chosen Nala, but anyone watching this video and reading this, there are some of the most loving dogs ever, with so much love to give at animal shelters all over the world.

***** You can find plenty of baby animals at animal shelters. People won't spay their animals so when/if they get pregnant, they'll put up the litter for adoption.
Pugs don't get along with small animals like Hamsters, Guinea pigs.. Rabbits, Ferrites.. I don't want to worry you guys but it's a little warning just in case! I'm sure Nala is too sweet for that❤️

My 11 week old puppy thinks my guinea pig is another puppy so she plays rough with her :L
Random tip I think they shouldn't allow Nala a squeaky toy as if she ever did hurt the guinea pigs they may squeak and she may not realise it's bad and she's hurting them (I'm not explaining this well) we didn't allow my dogs any squeaky toys as we have rabbits and just wanted to try and make sure the dogs understood the squeak sound was bad.....it's just a tip and my opinion so if they want that's fine but I think they shouldn't.

A tip; when nala does a wee/poo, even if she is mid way through it, lift her outside. It teaches them to go toilet in the garden rather than the house quicker xxx
Also, buy lots of different textures of toys, it gets them to be familiar with different enviroments. I would say just buy a pug book because it gives you lots of tips x
There is a lot of responsibility with a dog. I've had dogs since I was about 7 and there is so much to do. You need insurance (DEFINITELY this is a must because if your dog broke its leg it can be up to £2000 in vet fees if you don't have insurance) you need to train them to use the toilet outside (dog floor nappys) bowls,food,leads plus you need to make sure you stay with them a lot as they need SO much attention

Absolutely, pet insurance pays for itself! Especially with pugs as they tend to have a lot of health problems with their breathing etc.
