Just to explain to anyone who doesn't understand German here; the inscription on the statue at 2:35 reads: "In commemoration to the victims of the airplane crash on 24th March 2015".
Call the memorial park Autumn Flight for the plane and the trees!
Or Spring Flight because it's spring
Try to terraform that island so you have more land and maybe you can place that airport.
Keralis - You are the first youtuber I have seen that made an awesome use of the pedestrian walkways. They are perfectly done in that park - looks like a real park with walkways - well done!!!

Hey keralis please install the realistic traffic speeds mod. It makes the traffic brake and accelerate more realistic and the first person on vehicles mod just transforms. It'll transform your whole city!

idk, "Memorial Park" sounds good to me, no jokes, nothing tacky, just simple yet respectful.
Call the memorial park 'REMEMBRANCE WAY' because of the memorial and the fact that there's loads of walkways around it :)
There should be a mod in which you can make your own parks and adjust the places of where people can go or walk on.
RIcky Kandle You can make your own parks in asset editor which is built in the game.

German Wings Memorial Park!
I commented a similar idea.
The default name currently has "Heights" in the name so I said, "Germanwing Memorial Heights"
I feel like you already have a very good name for it. "Memorial Park" it is simple, and memorable, and just fitting. At least for me.
You need that airport on the island! Just a little terraforming and it'll fit perfectly!
Keralis, expand there where you wanted. Because you can then have an airport just next to the highway. All of the big cities have it like that. You can then in a later stage build a second airport on the island usin terraforming mod.
imo you should get the tile with a piece of the island, I think the airport would fit there then (maybe with little terraforming :P) and you could build some oil industry in the corner of this tile, so you wouldn't destroy the theme around the lake in the future
u should call the Island area:
Maple Island - because of the Autmn trees
Or maybe "Maple Park"

The fact that the name Vinewood Hills was given to that area makes no sense at all. That's a low wealth area and, in GTA V, Vinewood Hills is the most wealthy area of the city...why people upvoted that name, I will never know.

You should call the Memorial Park The Pedestrian Walkway Park because of all the walkways for the pedestrians. I know it doesn't fit the theme for the park but the name sounds right.
The thing written on the rural station above 'cities railways'was basically the same thing written again in Hindi(which is spoken in India)

Sorry one more. I say Lazy Gamer reviews on this game. I think it was the most positive review on anything I saw by him. He did say there was something lacking in it, and that was a lack of intormation on what you need for upgrades. Well somebody created a mod and I already have it. It will list the positive and the negatives of all buildings except for special plopable buildings. No more guess work, just click your building and see which section has the biggest red bar. Not as good as terraformer, but a game changer as well.

hey I think u should build a very big shopping place. build it off the highway and make it very long and try to loop it so u will get the most space for shops. in the end should be no people wanting shops for a while
Should name it "Barcelonnette", the closest city to the crash site. Know it's a name not really amazeballs but it's a nice little city close of mine and it can be a good memorial with it! (Maybe like Barcelonnette gardens?). R.I.P. :(

The reason why cities skylines population counter seems way off is because every single individual is a simulated entity. This means that you have 60.000 simulated people in your city.
There is a mod out there that gives you a more realistic hypothetical population counter based on the size of your city.

Hey Keralis, that is an amazing job on the park. It looks beautiful. Watching another LP of this game I saw there is a small 1x4 park in the workshop that would help fill in areas around the city and maybe a few in the memorial park....also, I think you should designate a large area for the airport, so then you could add more of them to make it look like an international airport....keep up the good work...[[|:-)'
