@@crystalflowers5676 true made a few myself but i used tanned hide from my livestock animal brains and black walnuts with very little care haven’t had any fur loss or bald patches appear 10+ year old deer hide using that method i killed a 10 point buck and kept the hide at 16
A map pocket would be a nice additional touch to make an Explorer's pouch.

Just an idea, but if you put another more open position in the strap then you could keep a writing scroll in the middle of all the pens.

Used to stop thin leather from stretching.

May I suggest adding captions explaining what is being done and why? Leather working patterns are notorious for their lack of pertinent details and explanations.
Nice color effect. You used one color reduced at 1st stage and then decreasing reducer or 3 different colors?
I used in (1) blue, (2) navy, and (3) 50% blue + 50% navy.

はい、タンニンなめし革を使用しているので、水を含ませてからペンなどが収まるように革を伸ばしています。

@majutworks Thanks for such a great video and the pattern. I'm almost at the final stage and have one quick question:
When you glue the inner part to the front part (05:30 to 05.50) it looks like you only glue around the edges.
Can you tell me why you don't glue the whole thing please?

Hello.
When all the interiors are glued together, the finish is hard.
If you bond only the edges, the opening and closing will be smoother.

I slightly changed the pattern to make the roll a little longer and to make the pen slots all the same size, but I followed your process for everything else. I used vinyl boards.
really cool. How can you just burn the ends of the yarn, doesn't it loosen over time then? or is it some special type?
i should have watched the rest 😅 but does the tape hold the yarn good enough?
Polyester threads can be treated with fire.
Hemp threads do not dissolve and must be bonded.
Tapes were used to prevent stretching in areas under load.

Why did you tape the stitch lines on the inside of the leather? Is it to prevent it from leaving an imprint showing through on the leather on the outside?
This is to prevent stretching in areas subjected to load.
Thin leather is not essential, just in case.
