Loved the vid fiona and as for the quail eggs, hold it upright so the egg sinks to the bottom , Don't try cracking quail eggs on the side of a bowl, like you would chicken eggs - this is because the membrane underneath the shell is thicker! Instead, crack your quail eggs with a paring knife or serrated knife at the top whilst the egg is settled on the bottom, that way it will stay in tact x
Egg float test . Place your eggs in the water. If your eggs sink to the bottom and lie flat on their sides, they are very fresh. If your eggs stand on one end at the bottom, they are a few weeks old, but still fine to eat. If your eggs float to the surface, they are no longer fresh.
Hey Fiona! I haven’t eaten quail eggs before but we have a family of quail that live on our property and recently they had babies so we love seeing them running around. Your breakfast looks amazing I prefer maple syrup too! I was Catholic growing up but became a non denominational born again Christian when I was 14 and now I’m the ripe old age of 54 lol. My sister is Catholic and she prays the rosary everyday she said it brings her comfort and peace as well. I believe our faith in Jesus is so important especially in the times we’re living in now, He brings comfort and peace in this crazy world. I love that you share your faith, you never know when someone watching needs to be lifted up. Great video, God bless! ❤❤
Hi Holly 😊 Thank you so much for watching and for your comment ❤ I didn't know you grew up Catholic. Do you mind me asking how it happened that you left the Catholic faith at such a young age? And if your sister is Catholic was it just you who changed faith? That's lovely that your sister prays her daily rosary. It really is such a calming prayer and a beautiful meditation on the life of Jesus. I really appreciate you sharing Holly. Did you ever consider reverting to the Catholic faith? Do you miss Jesus in the blessed Sacrament of the Eucharist? I know you still have a big devotion to Jesus being a Born again Christian. God bless you Holly ❤🙏
@@fionainherkitchen I’m the youngest of seven and five of us became born again Christians and my sister and older brother and our parents remained Catholic. We basically felt Jesus was calling us to a different faith because of our different beliefs in theology and a different way of worship. We believe Jesus is Lord and Savior just as Catholics do and after 40 years I’ve never thought of returning to the Catholic faith, I think everyone of faith should choose the path where they feel they are called to whether it’s religion or non denomination but I believe the most important thing is excepting Jesus as your Lord and Savior so we have eternal life with Him. I hope I was able to answer some of your questions. Fiona, one thing I do believe is we are sisters in Christ and if we never meet on earth we will one day meet in heaven 😊❤️God bless! ❤️❤️✝️
You are so kind to share with me. Yes we most certainly are sisters in Christ ❤🙏 I have six siblings too! I'm the 2nd oldest of 7. We're all still Catholic but not all 7 are practicing their faith which upsets my parents as they are devout Catholics. Please God they will return to the faith though. God bless you Holly. Thank you again for sharing 🙏😊 Have a wonderful weekend.
