I'm going to use him unmelded for now. He doesn't need any melds to be powerful, he already is. Melds that keep him alive would be useful, but not necessary. Yes, if you have more than 1 Diablo on the board, their Soul Burns stack (i.e. if one of your Diablos casts Soul Burn twice on one creature, your 2nd Diablo only has to cast it once more to remove the creature from play). Ra needs a loooooooot of Omni Upgrade Essences to become really good. Ra's Wrath at lvl 15 has a 20% chance of removing all enemy creatures from play. This is extremely powerful as if there are 5 enemy creatures on the board, odds are one of them will die on their next turns. Ra also activates his first 3 skills even if he's frozen or otherwise locked down. However, upgrading Ra's Wrath to lvl 15 is extreeeeemely expensive. Right out of the box, all Diablo needs to do is inflict Soul Burn 3 times on the same creature to remove it from play and he hits up to 3 creatures at a time. This is slower than Ra, but it's a guaranteed removal on the 3rd activation of Soul Burn (unless the enemy creatures just die to the Direct Damage, in which case they just die) instead of Ra's measly 0.5% (lvl 1 Ra's Wrath) to 20% (lvl 15 Ra's Wrath). So all in all, I much prefer Diablo.

I actually meant to ask if you have upgraded any of diablo's skills. I know that all 3 can be upgraded.
