The first thing that popped into my head when I heard that was “Sellout”. I like Eddie, been listening to him for years, but that kind of takes the shine off the message. I’ve been watching the nfl since I was 5 years old, 55 years, but when they announced the cheifs-dolphins game was going to “pay per view peacock only”, that was the end for me “Sellout”. I’m afraid that’s what I’m gonna have to do here. Eddie can do whatever he wants to do, he doesn’t owe me anything. He made a decision and most of the people here will continue to listen, but for me, I’m taking a stand, not against anyone but for myself. After years of listening every morning on my walk, I feel like Im losing an old friend, but after that I just can’t take him seriously. Such is life. Words matter but actions reveal.
