i keep having suicidal thoughts when i be pressured, or my parents get angry at me.
the first time i listened to this, i cried. i try my best everyday, and to even act happy or be funny, but at some point in my life i always have suicidal thoughts when something bad happens, especially when it's my fault.
i lose my mind more often than when i have suicidal thoughts, but usually if i lose my mind long enough i'll start having suicidal thoughts.

Watched my best friend die in front of me. He was all I’ve had for as long as I can remember. Now it’s just me. I think about how his last memories of me were me depressed for years. He won’t ever get to see me happy. Get married. Have kids. Build a life. Little details you don’t think about until they’re gone. I think what’s worse was having to see it happen. Six months of cancer. Slept in the chair next to him every day the whole time. I’d give anything just for that again.
For others who’ve suffered loss... or are crippled with depression like me... this will pass. Find something. Anything. An anchor that keeps you on the ground. Keeps you from giving up. Whatever it is. Whether it’s living to preserve the memory of that person or loved one or selflessly for your family... whatever it is. Keep going. Just keep going.

@@jayvoneurby1330 truth is, I felt like that before I discovered true loss. I hit rock bottom just before I found it could get worse. Idk what you’re going through but try and surround yourself with positive things. Do things that make you happy. Workout in the morning if you’re motivated enough. Pick something... whether it be a singular goal or an idea or a person you can think about. And focus on that. I’ve always had severe anxiety. I overthink everything. Sometimes it’s nice because I over analyze situations and events to develop an almost photographic memory. It helps in hard times. Having studied the details of a moment. So that when something bad happens... I can close my eyes and see it clearly and it pulls me out. Always do something to further yourself. Learn something new. Make a new positive hobby. If you’re friends only like to sit around and play video games... that’s okay (only person I have really only plays video games). But try making friends with people that go out. I don’t mean to clubs. Like on adventures.
I hope any of that was useful. I wish I could listen to my own advice. I have always helped others find a peace or happiness I can’t grab myself. But I truly truly wish whatever it is you’re going through... you find your way out. You find a reason to smile. You find hope. Because you’re worth it.

this song really gets me in my feels. my best friend that I met at the beginning of this school year had a cancer relapse recently and she is really not doing well. the doctors say that she doesn't have long. she can't even manage to get out of her bed. listening to this song brings back all of the great memories that we made together in such a short period of time. when I go to visit her at her house and sit down right next to her in her bed brings back all of those memories as I hold her hand while she falls asleep. i have to be brave for her so i try to stay happy when I'm with her. but its hard. when she falls asleep when I'm there, i listen to this song and cry and pray to god that she'll make it out of this. but i don't think that my prayers have been working. she's just been getting worse and worse. shes such a trooper and i thank the god in heaven that i met her. i just dont wanna see her go. but this song helps me to cope with everything. so thank you for this loop. it means so much to me.

this makes me think of my brother, he died 9 years ago from cancer, he would always say " once you wake up you'll be a beautiful butterfly" when he put me to sleep, since my parents hated me he was the only one who i trusted in life. when i was six he said "promise me, you will be strong and remember me, i toke his pinky and promised i would, he was only 19 when he grew his wings and left me alone.. to cry, now im 15, i still cry when i think of him but, i promised

my grandma rn has Osteosarcoma (Cancer in bone) stage 4 and she has been in bed for days already which makes me worried. I visited her today and i was holding her hands shen she just fell asleep. I just hope she gets better cause i remember she used to babysit me when i was still 4 or 5.
Update: wow i forgot about this comment... just to tell she has now passed away at march 11 (i think)

This song brings so much memories of my girlfriend and me she had cancer In high school the doctors said she only live for 1 month and I cried so hard when I found out she still is alive right now but she doesn't have long everytime I come her house I sit next her and when she falls asleep i wanted to cry al of the time but i wanted to be a trooper like her i hope she will make it out of this and everytime she is asleep I listen to this song and pray I hope my prays work and I hope no one deals with this....

I was very used in my household when I was a child and I was always forced into being something I didn’t want to be. I used to cut myself accidentally and intentionally. My friend/girlfriend helped me through all this while I though I was a disappointment, ugly, and pathetic. I soon got over it and now, even though I still have those thoughts, I now know that people are there for me.
