    • @hasamind
      @hasamind 4 года назад +27

      I think the definition of “bust” should be reserved for the guys that get drafted high into the league with high expectations and fail to perform at the level that was expected of them. Poor shooting, poor court vision, poor defense. An all around bad player that somehow played good against elite college competition but once in the NBA somehow turned into a scrub. Not someone who is a good player but ends up having to retire due to health concerns but was a force when on the court. Just doesn’t feel right

      I think the simple fact that he came back to play after each of those injuries is way more significant than his salary.

    • @visrupt
      @visrupt 5 лет назад +3

      Mylo the Zoo-loving Scientist I get the idea of people saying money is the least important aspect but.. that’s just fantasy. In his situation, and where he is now, most probably is a result of the financial asset he made from his career.

    • @MylotheZooLovingScientist
      @MylotheZooLovingScientist 5 лет назад

      @@visrupt Well, I personally didn't say it was the least important. I just said his recovery was more important, and I'm positive if you asked TJ, he'd say the same thing.

    • @visrupt
      @visrupt 5 лет назад +1

      Mylo the Zoo-loving Scientist yeah of course that’s what he would say, like everyone else because that’s how you touch people’s heart. But I’m talking about reality here. You probably know a lot of people suffer from very treatable illnesses, or situations like these but couldn’t get treatment cos of money. Like you automatically get 50% chance of survival if you have the money, and the rest is up to your body.
      Anyway we got a lil of track with what the OP said. He was just referring to TJ’s success in his career, not in life, but either way money was definitely a big factor, probably the most significant.
