Hey guy's just to help you out, it has nothing to do with the middle east, it is in North Africa, Algeria, (as a Nigerian you should know our flag) So DJ Snake is Bi-Cultural, Dad French (but left when he was 2yo) and his mum is Algerian and he was raised by her. He wanted to show a bit of his culture people think he is only french but no, He is more Algerian. He showed different type of place within the country and few cultural things that we do in wedding. there was different type of music, dance ... it is not even 0.1% of Algeria what you saw and heard. this dance with the gun we do that in the east of Algeria in wedding but it came from back in the days during the war when they would win against the french they would do this dance to celebrate. You have Alawi, Elalawi, ghaida, rai, chaabi type of music but we have more. hopefully it helped, and Disco Maghreb is the label production of Cheb Khaled, cheb mami... and all the big reknown singers of Algeria, it was the first one within north africa and also middle east. (Maghreb should have lead you to understand it is in africa and not middle east lol but yeah 100% ALGERIA. WHat he was saying is what we say to make the ambiance in party or wedding: 1 2 3 do it again, come and dance with us....
Thanks! We totally didn't know anything about DJ Snake and gave our first thoughts here. I think I (Ivory) got the middle Eastern vibe from the music at the beginning and the way language sounded. Glad we were able to learn something new through your comment here. Much appreciated.
This is the biggest country in Africa ...brave people ...when u respect them .. they'll give you everything..they don't take advantage on tourists .. Because most of them are financially comfortable, and this is due to the cooperation among them...the rich helps the poor
this is an old algerian traditional song in wars victory or in the time of harvesting, originated from the old city west algeria and over a 1000 years traditional music to dance, is called ALALAWI DANCE
Hi, bonjour, salam, as dj Snack I was born in France but my origins are Algerian. Each image you see represents a historical piece of our culture. each place is symbolic. each piece of music represents an artist from there. Nothing is left to chance. yes some tribal dances use guns. Thank you for sharing.
